Responding to an *** ad, I ordered some *** and paid through ***. After completing my order, instead of an order confirmation I received an *** that said, "Your request (***) has been received and is being reviewed by our ***." That made me suspicious.
At first the only way I could find to contact *** was through *** chat. The first time I tried, after I described the situation, the *** said I would be connected to a *** (!) and then the *** transferred me to a site called "***" that says, "Join for $1 and get your answer in minutes. Unlimited conversations—try 7 days for just $1. Then $46/month."
I tried *** chat again; after I had described the situation, the *** asked me questions about my *** provider and about my *** -- then transferred me to "***" again.
Then I found an *** address for the company, so I emailed them all of this same information. After I sent my email, I received a response *** essentially identical to the *** after my original order: "Your request (***) has been received and is being reviewed by our ***."
Today when filing a complaint with my *** company to dispute this charge, I found that the charge listed *** with a *** phone number. I called that number, and the greeting began, "Thank you for calling ***." I don't think I'll be receiving those ***!
On Tuesday, August 4, I received your response to an *** I had sent, advising me that the only way to file a complaint was to do so via the *** website. Right away I went on the website and filed the complaints (against "***," based in ***). Everything I wrote in that complaint was true, and had convinced me that I had fallen for a scam, that *** was not a legitimate company.
Today, much to my great surprise, I received in the mail the product that I had ordered from them. This is a shock to me, as I was convinced that I had been duped.
Since I have received the product, I need to withdraw my complaint against the company. I am very sorry to have filed a false complaint; it certainly was not my intention, as I was fully convinced that the company was fake.
Can you either take down my complaint, or advise me on how to do so? Again, I sincerely apologize for submitting this unwarranted complaint.
