I am sure the business has cameras that show each car coming in and out the car wash. My hazards light were not on entering the car wash clearly indicating that the button was not jammed and completely shifted underneath the dashboard like it was when I left the car wash unable to turn them off. Your employees are careless and destructive. Attempting to fix it wasn't a good deed on their end, it was them attempting to fix their mistake unlike what you're doing by making excuses to why you shouldn't be held responsible for the action of your employees. A complete inspection as well as a New York State inspection was done on my vehicle were done on my vehicle just a day prior to this incident where I'm sure that would've been noted has there been any malfunctions. It was not until I left your business that my car had any issues

To Whom It May Concern,
This is a response to the complaint letter received.
Shine On Car Wash...
resolved this issue with the customer prior to this letter being received through mail last week. We never received the first letter since the current letter states that it is the 2nd notice.
The customer claimed to be missing a piece of his car. We have a clear written notice to all customers that all loose parts on all vehicles or after market parts are not our responsibility. This is the cover of a tow hook on the bumper, which is considered a loose part since it not a permanent fixture on the vehicle. It is easily removable by hand and is not bolted, glued, or clipped into the bumper.
Even though, we already searched our business and settling tanks for this small piece. It took us a total of 15 hours to drain out 3 settling tanks that hold at least 10,000 gallons of water. We notified the customer that it will take 2 weeks for us to do this since we need to contract a company to pump out the tanks at a significant cost.
After looking for this piece, we notified the customer that a new piece was ordered from the dealership and it will take time to come in. From the time we ordered the piece, which cost only $11, it took about 1.5 weeks for it to come in.
The customer came in and picked up the part. The customer was satisfied and we invested over 3 workers and 15 hours (including overtime) of manpower.
We received this letter after resolving this situation with the customer. You may ask the customer about this issue. He is currently still a customer at our car wash.
Thank you.

Review: I went to this car wash, for the second or third time, however this time, on Saturday March [redacted]2014 around 2:30 I did a full service wash and after the car came out, the tow hook cover on the front bumper was missing, I spoke to the service [redacted] and he stated he will check later and call me back whether he finds it or not. I went back a few minutes before closing to take another car and I wait until the car wash closed spoke to him and he stated he could not find the piece because all the water did not finish draining. I went back the next day (Sunday March [redacted]) and spoke to him and then he went on to say he did not check. The car wash has a sign that states they are not responsible for power antennas, bug shields, luggage racks, loose chrome, wipers, auto wipers, glued spoilers, and any non-factory installed items. However, this piece is an Acura installed factory option that comes directly with the service as it rolls of the assembly line and has never fell off before. The dealer is charging about $21.60 for this color matched piece. I am trying to be patient but I feel like I am getting the round around.Desired Settlement: The dealer sells this piece for about $21.60 and I would like to be reimbursed in full.
