Complaint is against owner/operator Sandra J. I kept an appointment with J on February 3, 2020, for a haircut and hair treatment. After arriving, J offered an extra treatment she called "SHINE" for an additional $6.00. J never applied this treatment to my hair. She later falsely stated she added it to another "treatment" but this is a lie. She offered to refund the $6, but has not. I was to have had a "treatment" applied after shampooing, for which I told to sit in the chair for 6 minutes. This, too, was a fraud. J never explained or showed me the "treatment" and there was no noticed results. Likely because the "treatment" was nothing but ordinary conditioner. The primary reason I came to this shop as a first-time client was for a haircut. Yet, J never actually cut my hair. She made sport of how my neckline hair had been chopped, but she didn't straighten it out as she claimed she was doing. It is still the same only a bit shorter, even, on one side. She simply never cut my hair. I asked that my hair be given some height at the crown, and she told me I would have to purchase her products in order to achieve that. No kidding. She now claims I was only there for a "shape" which is a total lie, as was her entire approach. One does not come into a salon, for the first time, for a "shape." In looking at photos of her clients, herself, and my head, this woman doesn't know how to cut hair.
Sandra Dee J is a deceitful business person, who charged me for "treatment" and "shine" that she never applied. She also took my money and a $5.00 tip for a haircut she didn't produce.
After I posted a review of her scam on her Facebook page, she deleted all of it, blocked me from the page, and had one of her clients, Dallas Staten, post this: Dallas Kathleen Staten You stupid as.. so take your rude as comments and shove them up your as, thanks in advance sweetheart!!!
I am responding to this "extremely unfair" Revdex.com Complaint.
I have attached all copies of all communications with Anne R and her alias on Facebook which is "Nan S". They are one in the same individual with the same complaint.

This lady, Anne R, was in my chair on Monday, February 3rd for my New Client Special which includes a Haircut, Deep Conditioning Treatment and a Blow-Dry Style for $29.00
Anne R elected for the treatment booster as an Add-On for $6. My clients get to choose from Repair, Smooth or Shine. She chose Shine and the booster was "added" to the deep conditioning treatment base. I cut her hair based on our very thorough discussion during the consultation. I did a very nice blow-dry style using 2 of my favorite products. Specifically, I used and showed her TIGI Multi-Tasking Styling Foam and a Root Volumizer made by Puff Me. I also gave her a light spray at the end with TIGI Volume Finishing Spray.
At the end of the service, she did not mention any issues or concerns when we checked out. She even elected to give me a $5 tip for the $35 total service.
So, she paid $29 new client special + $6 shine add on booster + $5 tip. This is a total of $40.00.

Later that evening, to my total surprise... Anne R left a google review on my google business page. The review is attached in this email.
I was shocked to see what she wrote and also shocked that she felt that way... because I had no idea she felt this way when she left earlier that day after her appointment.
So, I immediately responded to her review and explained the details of my very public "Happy Client Guarantee". This guarantee is on my website at www.shinehairspa.com and it is on my service menu in the salon. But, in case she did not know... I explained it in detail on my review response. Later, within hours on that same day... she deleted her original review which in turn deleted my kind response to offer a solution to her complaint.

Then within another hour.... Anne R was posting her review / recommendation on my Facebook Page for Shine Hairspa as her alias Nan S. At first, I did not know who this person was, because the profile is Nan S (not Anne R). It is very nasty, and Nan S (which is Anne R) is saying very negative things about me and my salon...using the words "fraud" and "liar" ... saying "she is a liar and a fraud". I am not a liar or a fraud. I did cut her hair. I did give her the base treatment. I did give her the $6 add on shine booster and I did style her hair. Maybe she didn't like it... and that is OK...but that does not mean I did not do the service as she states in the Revdex.com complaint on Tues, Feb 4th, 2020.

She proceeded to COPY & PASTE her Facebook recommendation AS A COMMENT under all my reviews from other clients on Facebook. She also made nasty comments under all my business posts for marketing and advertising. She has totally harassed and clearly made marks of DEFAMATION all over my Facebook page. It is such a harassment to my business that I had to shut down my Facebook page - which is one of my primary sources of advertising / and for social media.

I am 100% sure that Anne R did read my google review response which is why she deleted it. Anne R did not give me a call to figure out a solution. I explained that I would either redo her entire service or happily refund her money 100% per my Happy Client Guarantee. Instead she pursues the very next day - the date of the Revdex.com complaint on Tuesday, February 4th to demand a refund.. (which I already offered.) She demands a refund and says things like "her scam" , "she simply never cut my hair", "falsely stated", "this is a lie", " this too was a fraud", "yet, J never actually cut my hair", "Sandra Dee J is a deceitful business person".

I have refunded her $40.00 and I now am seeking a lawyer and civil suit for Defamation for my salon and my personal business as an individual stylist. And I hope I never run across such an evil indivudual again in my salon. This lady, Anne R, I feel that she was out to get her money back from the beginning. And I clearly never had a chance to make her a Happy Client. I have found her profile as "Anne Ford R" from 2010 - 10 years ago - where she has done this same thing to Neutrogena for a rebate she says she never received for $38.51. She is also calling Neutrogena "a scam", "fraud", ... so this is who Anne R is.
