Shield Protection - California

Review: Shield Protection employees fraudulently misrepresented themselves as ADT employees to gain access into my home. Once they gained access into my home they insisted they were there to install upgrades to my security system, while the whole time they were removing my ADT system and replacing with their own. I continuously asked them if they were ADT security employees and they refused to respond. When it became apparent that they were not ADT employees I became more afraid for my safety. When they finished changing my security system they insisted I sign a three year contract. I felt afraid and intimated and was bullied by their over powering physical presence into signing the contract. After they left I was afraid and ashamed of what had happened. When my daughter who is a (Flight Attendant) returned home I confided in her what had happened. We called to cancel the contract on 10 May 2013 with Shield Protection. I had ADT reinstall my security system and Shield Protection picked up equipment. Shield Protection has refused to cancel my contract and have sent me a bill for $2000 dollars. I would like some legal action to be taken against this companies business practices against the elderly.
