On July 5, I signed a contract with Sherwood Build & Design and provided a $cash deposit for services provided in the contract The contracted work included the preparation and installation of a concrete shed pad and the extension of existing interlocking patio, with all materials and works included and to be started on July 12, 2017, weather permitting (which it was on July 12) and completed within 1-days More specific details of the work were provided in the contractI was provided a receipt for the deposit on July 7, This work has not been delivered within days of the promised delivery date (July 12, 2017) and I have been unable to contact the business via phone, text and email with any response since July 25th, On July 12th two workers showed up to begin work but left as the supplies they needed had not been provided by the business They dug up some grass where the interlocking was supposed to go, this has now been dug up for the entire summer

To whom it may concern; I am a builder based out of Hamilton, I contacted Sherwood to get some framing and drywall doneTook them about a week for a full sqft basement and was done in a neat fashion very professional! - I recommend Sherwood they are strong, reliable & reasonable with their ratesThumbs up!

I am thankful to have gone with sherwood for my concrete and sod work for my new developmentDefinetly skilled guys and good workmanship, project timing was slower than expected but then again these things happenThe concrete up to date is still as when it was first done, the sod had died within the first weeks and one of the SBD reps had come and done Lawn care for me (aeration, fertilizer, blanket weed spray and seeding) weeks later my lawn was even nicer then when first sodded! Such good customer service even considering that my kids couldof been to blame why the grass didint catch right away to begin with LOL! I recommend sherwood to anyone seeking landscape/hardsccape services around the Mississauga - Brampton community, their care for customers speaks for itself.ð???ð??? Best regards, Cassandra M

This complaint is in relation to a contract that was signed on June 26th with Sherwood Build & Design to complete a concrete patio
Initial greeting at our property went smoothly; *** and *** were detailed about the project We were told that to start the project, the company would require a deposit of $1600,payments were set into installments on the contract We provided the requested deposit and was given a receipt for the transfer of funds, and the project was to begin on July 10th,
On July 10th, 2017, I received a text message from *** stating that the gentlemen who usually provides the dumpster didn't want to drive the distance to our house and therefore refused to deliver the dumpster *** admitted that he should have told his dumpster guy ahead of time about the driving distance but was able to find another company, *** *** Bin, to deliver the dumpster but not until July 11th by noon *** said that when the dumpster is dropped off they would ma

These young man have come a very long way since I last used them or years agoVery organized and punctual now I really likeClean and tidy manner when working and exceptional final product yesGood guys I will use again and again thank you

They come to house and make twice better I'm so hapy wife hapy kid hapy can play evething so nice they are good guys good work very clean

Sherwood poured a concrete basement and did some waterproofing back in November
I am not going to sit here and say that the objective wasn't done properly , what I will say is how outrageously messy some of their workers were!! Coming in around 7-in the morning already playing loud music and smoking cigarettes, we have vents that travel upstairs and they were warned that we have a new bornThe foreman Jake was very rude to myself and my partner, they left garbage in my back areaThe big boss was nice enough to compensate the stress by providing us with a complimentary backyard shed pad!
Thankfully everything was done just in time for my partner and I's wedding!! ***

This company came and completed a few things around my establishment in which I am very happy and appreciative forI originally hired another company for the work but they seemed quite inexperienced once they arrived on the first day, very little had gotten doneSo we had to let them goWe looked online and fortunately found Sherwood Build and DesignThey came in on extremely short notice and finished the work within weeksThe quality and experience speaks for itself! I would like to personally thank Mr.L., Don & Pat for the reliable servicesWe have scheduled another project with them for next spring and are very exited to get it started! Was referred to sherwood by a Neighbour of mine to get my framing and drywall doneI am more or less satisfied then disappointed on the timelinethe job was supposed to take week but ended up taking 2, although I understand things happen in construction all the time I still needed it done by a certain date because I was leaving the countryWith that being said, these guys got the job done quite professionally and was approved by inspectorsI would definetly use them againperhaps just at a less busy moment in my life lolThanks again to the crew at Sherwood! The owner Don Osigned the contract with us to do the interlock in August We paid 30% deposit, i.e $1, The work is contracted to finish in weekThey rarely showed up to do the workThey left the mess at front at our house As of today, October 3, 2017, they only did 0.1% of the work
We kept calling, texting, emailing many times No response from SherwoodWe came to their office address as registered with Business Bureau and as stated on their contract There are no Unit -Central Pkwy and Bramsteele Road, Unit 28B *** ***
We want to get full deposit to be refunded and additional $10,to compensate for all loss we suffered
