Review: Reservation Confirmation #[redacted] Thurs June 26th thru Mon 30th. Sheraton erroneously charged my [redacted] ([redacted]) bankcard $3,226.32. Anxious that I was unable to use my [redacted] bankcard over the July 4th holiday weekend, I contacted Sheratons General Manager, Shelton J[redacted], at 10:04 am on Friday, July 4th. Mr. J[redacted] acknowledged the error and stated that a reversal was already done on Monday June 30th. J[redacted] also informed me that he would investigate further with an employee who was scheduled in the office that day at 3:00 pm. I confirmed with Mr. J[redacted] that he or someone would call me back that day. After not hearing back from Mr. J[redacted], at 6:41 pm, I called him back and left a voice message on his office phone. The representative I spoke with confirmed that Mr. J[redacted] was still in the hotel office. To this day, Monday, July 22nd, NOT ONE PERSON FROM THE SHERATON HAS CONTACTED ME REGARDING THIS MATTER. Never in all my stays at any hotel have I experienced such neglect and irresponsibility. A week later I contacted [redacted] who previously had advised me to contact the Sheraton. Although [redacted] agreed to reverse the charges on my account & investigate this matter with the Sheraton Hotel, according to the representative at [redacted], as of July 7th the Sheraton has submitted NO REQUEST to reverse these charges (SEVEN DAYS LATER)! Then, finally the Sheraton reversed the charges Tuesday, (8 days later). I am so appalled by the Sheratons lack of response, I find it hard to articulate. During this time I was unable to pay any bills or enjoy the 4th of July holiday weekend due to the lack of funds. I want an apology and compensation for this inconvenience.Desired Settlement: Compensation for not having access to my funds for eight days because of the Sheraton's negligence.
