After looking further into the original complaint and the added information given, we found a reservation under [redacted] and [redacted] 's Credit Card was used to pay for the room.The letter from Revdex.com states wrong information:First, it has the wrong contact name and wrong name of businessThen [redacted] Complaint Background it states Purchase Date 4/8/and Talked to Company on 4/11/The stay at the hotel was from 4/5-4/10/and she did not contact Choice hotels until May 13, Then the Purchase Price: listed$and Disputed Amount listed as $The total cost of the night stay was $429.83.I have acknowledged [redacted] s concerns and have apologized for any inconvenience or discomfort during [redacted] and [redacted] s stayThe first issue was about pricingShe stated the best available rate online given to her was $per night and when she called the hotel the price given was $per nightThe $rate she found online was a promotional rate, She stayed nights which is eligible for Stay or more nights and get 20% off your entire stayTheir rate was actually, $for nights and$for two nights, weekend rates are higher, plus taxThe total cost of the stay was only $429.83.In my response to her complaint, I explained the promotional rate to her and how we do not offer more than one discount at a time and she insisted that she seen the $as the best available rate online.Her reservation information can prove otherwise[redacted] then continued on about the conditions of the curb outside the hotel, the carpet in the lobby, the noise level of the public bar in the hotel and how the front desk staff was counting their drawer in publicThen she continued to let us know about her concerns of the roomShe thought there wasn't enough lighting in the room and she did not like our Choice Standard pillowsThere is a light switch when you first walk into the room that is LED arid lights up enough to see into the room to tum on the several lamps placed in the roomWe do appreciate the feedback and will look into the possibility of something different if this is a safety issue to our guestsShe then stated the air conditioner/heat unit did not work properly in which was never reported during the night stay other wise we could have told her that the units are new and there is not a problem with them, the units tum on and off depending on the temperature of the room, nor were any of the other issues brought to our attention during the entire stayThen she stated housekeeping left their door open after cleaning it the first dayI do not know if this is true or not, as management was never told about this during the stay, but we were in the process of renovating rooms at the time and left other rooms that were not occupied open for easy access and closed them each day after completion.I wrote an e·mail apologizing for the several issues stated in her complaint and appreciated the feedback and told her I would share the feedback with the staff and upper management to make any necessary changes[redacted] stated Choice hotels is not acknowledging the absurd fee they are charging to stay in the hotel and the lack of overall quality [redacted] compared the quality of our hotel to that of a Motel The Clarion Hotel & Conference Center is inspected by a representative of Choice Hotels every year and have several standards to obey byWe have passed our inspections with high scores compared to the minimum requirementsI believe if some of these issues [redacted] had about our hotel were brought up during her stay with us, several of them could have been resolved at the time.Regards,Ranjit [redacted] Operations Manager Clarion Hotel Marina &Conference Center [redacted]

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.As stated in my response I generalized the date stayed. I did not join Diana in the hotel till the 8th even though she checked in earlier. The disputed amount is the amount of overcharge and the discount not being taken. The rate shown does not state it is a discounted rate on their website. So there is no reason to believe that the rate is per discount. That is misleading on their part the rate is listed and it is the only rate that appears when looking at the website. Called hotel and had to ask why I could get a discount rate and was informed this was a discounted rate. See attached PDF of what their website looks like. A hotel can call anything a discount rate in their system but when attempting to book online nothing shows that this is  a deal rate.  We did complain about the air conditioning unit and the door being left open to your attendants at the desk. If they did not pass that information along to management I can not be held responsible for that for that. There is one tiny light at the entry way of the door that allows you enough light to see the bathroom door right next to entryway.  The term enough light is highly subjective and it was not "enough light" that I felt it was safe especially considering their are two doorway immediately next to the entryway. As you can see the hotel is dismissive to any complaints about their unsafe non-osha above " safety rugs" there lack of a drop off on the curb. Their dismissive nature of my door being left open and therefore unsecured and leaving all my belongs available speaks a lot and it all becomes generalized down to the hotel is under construction. Which I was uninformed of until now even though I have made multiple complaints during and after my stay. If the hotel is under construction that is understandable but should be informed to your guest.  As far as my response time. I called Choice hotel number and received no response so the first written complaint you received complaint was sent on May 11th. I didn't realize their was a time limit to express unhappiness with a stay. Next time I will be sure to inform you immediately as I am on a plane traveling that my stay was horrible and I received the worst night sleep in a unsafe, dirty, minimalist hotel pricing themselves as a five star hotel. My complaint is that the pricing does not at all match the quality or is comparable to nicer near by hotels. Regards,[redacted]

Their rate was actually, $71.99 for 3 nights and$79.99 for two nights, weekend rates are higher, plus tax.
