Attached to this response is the statement received from the Store Manager regarding the interactions with this tenant and the company personnel. The response is self-explanatory. Tenant broke his lease and is not due a refund and will not be receiving a refund
At this time there is nothing further that Stor All can do in this matter and no need to continue with this complaint. We have provided all of the information necessary for the Revdex.com regarding this matter. With respect to your request for payment, I must refer you to your lease and again reiterate that any time you store your items, whether with Stor All or any other self storage facility, your items are stored at your own risk. Stor All does not carry and has never carried coverage on tenant's unit contents. It is for this reason that we always encourage our tenants to have insurance on their contents. Lastly, Stor All's lease limits the value of the contents of a tenant's items and therefore if you stored over $7,000 worth of items, you were in violation of your lease. Stor All will not be offering you any additional funds to cover your loss. With regards to the comments being made about insurance coverage, etc. I would request that you refrain from making statements and/or accusations which are completely false. To correct the record only, Stor All has never been "dropped" by an insurance carrier for any reason. Should Stor All decide to change carriers it would be at the decision of the president of the company and for no other reason. No further responses will be made regarding this complaint and I would ask that the Revdex.com mark this complaint as having been responded to and make your decision based upon the information that has been provided. Thank you.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. I think and feel as though that "Stor-All Alfred" had pre-plotted to have me evicted from their storage facility/units; because I have a "Business Degree" . Stor-All's "statement-of-facts/response" of what occurred was a over statement of the truth. I made it aware to those that were on shift, that I will be notifying the B.B.B. & The A.G.O as soon as possible. Regards,
Dear Sir or Madam:In response to the letter received February 6, 2017 regarding a tenant with a customer complaint, we provide the following information:Tenant states his complaint involves "Guarantee or Warranty issues". Tenant states that in December the self storage facility had break-ins and at...
that time he spoke with the assistant manager who assured him that cameras were being installed to "keep watch on the outside units” and due to the fact he was told we were having cameras installed, he did not vacate his unit. On January 23, 2017 the facility suffered additional break ins of the outside units. Tenant believes that if cameras had been installed that the cameras "caught something". Tenant goes on to state that "this is an inside job but this storage place will take no blame... after promising too (sic) install camera's (sic)".First off, to address the installation of cameras, after the break in that occurred in December, Stor All contacted some security companies who install cameras and started getting quotes regarding installation of additional security cameras for the facility. It is not as simple as making a phone call. You have to run cabling for the installation over 700' and deal with the City because of the concrete issues. In addition, Stor All believed it to be in its best interest to also install gates at the back of the facility and additional fencing along with camera systems. All of these items take time, and you must coordinate with local and city ordinances as well.Stor All was able to get an agreement for installation and after getting with the concrete company to pour concrete and install bollards and posts, was able to get wrought iron gates made for the property in order to not only install cameras which may or may not identify the number of individuals who may be involved, but to deny entry into the outside storage units without gate access.Stor All takes pride in its facility and has pushed hard to get crews available to get this work done, however it does not happen in 24 hours or even 24 days. Until you coordinate with local and city ordinances and get permits the bureaucracy alone is a slow process, you also have to wait for proper weather to all concrete pours, etc. While we certainly understand the frustration of this tenant, the tenant had independent insurance. For each instance the tenant should have $2000 of coverage. Therefore if the tenant can prove that he had "more than $7000" of loss and states that his unit was in fact broken into 3 times, then the tenant has 3 separate claims to make through the insurance company. The tenant has been briefed on how to file each claim and should have moved forward with that process directly with the insurance carrier. All tenants store their belongings at their own risk. It is made clear to the tenant that there is no insurance coverage through Stor All for their belongings. Therefore Stor All does not make payments to tenant for any loss. In addition, if tenant's loss "equaled more than S7000", the tenant is limited to theamount he can store in his unit by his lease. If tenant broke his lease and stored more than $7000, then tenant put his own items at risk by not only breaking the lease, but not having proper insurance coverage for his loss. Our company takes pride in its facilities. We also take pride in our employees and do not believe that any of our employees are to blame for this loss. We are working very hard to get the outside units fenced, gated, and cameras installed and our crew has been at the facility for over 3 weeks preparing and working on this project.Once [redacted] completes the outside lighting repairs and the cabling is completed, we hope to finish up the project in an expeditious manner. Our crews are working full time and overtime at the facility to accomplish this. There will be no monies offered to this individual, but rather we would suggest he file his claims for each loss that he states he has suffered as an individual claim so that he can obtain the correct coverages from them. Please feel free to contact me should you have any additional questions.Thank you.Sincerely,Lori [redacted] Stor All Home Office AdministratorNOTE: Please see attached original response from business.
