I find it absolutely ridiculous that the car lot says I blew the transmission on the first vehicleI dont know alot about the mechanics of cars but I do know I have never in my life had a transmission go out on any vehicle I have ever owned and that it's a problem that takes longer than the two weeks I had the car for the problem to get that badIf the car lot thinks I will pay the balance on either contract they won't get a dime as I won't pay for something I don't haveWhen I test drove both vehicles I asked if there was anything wrong with either car both times I was lied to and told they didn't have any problems with either carAs for the pontiac the windshield wipers, tire, door and lights may have been small issues but after the trouble I had already had with cars from their lot it was more of a hassle than it was worthI believe they owe me my money back and will not accept anything less than a full refund of the money I spent on both cars

On 03-24-15 [redacted] purchased a 2002 Ford Taurus from us for $400 down, and payments of $75 a week until the total amount of $3200 was paid in full per the contract she signed. Also per the contract, it was purchased AS-IS with no warranty, and separate AS-IS papers were signed. On 04-06-15, 2 weeks after she purchased the Taurus, she had it towed to the car lot, and it was determined that she had blown up the transmission. Even though she signed AS-IS papers for the vehicle, she was allowed to trade it in that day for 2001 Pontiac Sunfire with a $100 trade in fee that is paid by all customers who wish to trade in their vehicle. 2 days after the trade in, she contacted the car lot advising the driver side door wouldn't shut and the back tire was flat, which we never had issues with while the car was at the car lot. Once we picked up the car, to no expense to Alinda, the driver side door was locked and the latch was flipped inside the door. All we had to do was unlock the door and lift the outside handle and it shut with no further problems. As stated in her complaint, the lights and wipers on the vehicle were working fine when she purchased the car. The reason they stopped working was because of the door not shutting, the battery ran down. Once we charged the battery, the lights and wipers worked fine (I have a video of the lights and wipers working I can email if needed.). I don't feel that it is the car lots fault that she couldn't unlock the door latch and caused the battery to go dead. She will not be refunded any money, nor will we be paying for her lost wages. We were considering the options of taking her to court to force her to fulfill the contract obligations due to the fact that she blew up the first vehicle she had.
