Review: An event was planned by this company for 10/**/2014 which I purchased tickets for. Today is Monday 10/**/2014 and an email of cancellation was sent today asking people who bought tickets to just ask the Credit Card company to "Cancel" the charges. Obviously it's not as easy as that, they would need to be disputed and can take time. The email goes on to say that it's a "Small company" and can't process so many refunds. I would, like many others, to get a full refund ASAP.Desired Settlement: A refund

Review: On 9/**/2014 I placed an order (#[redacted] in the amount of $31.83) for ‘tickets’ to attend a Shecky’s event scheduled for 12/**/2014. On October [redacted], I received an email from Shecky’s that the event has been postponed, and because the company is a small company and my refund would have to be handled manually, I would need to contact my credit card company to get them to refund my money. Upon contacting the bank that handles my account, I was told that because Shecky’s had already accepted and processed my payment, they (Shecky’s) would have to issue me a refund.

I have tried to contact Shecky’s customer service, or anyone to assist with this matter, via their website (sheckys.com), their customer service email ([redacted]) and via phone. I have not gotten a response and their phone system doesn’t get you to an actual person, just their voicemails, which you cant leave a message as you are told their voicemails are full.Desired Settlement: I expect to have my payment refunded to my account or to receive a check for the amount that was paid to them.

Review: I purchased a ticket for their event in Houston TX that was going to take place on November **, 2014. An email was sent out with instructions to call my credit card company for a refund because they cancelled the event. I purchased my ticket in July 2014 and can not cancel the charge with my credit card. It has been too long from the date of the charge. I have attempted to contact them by email and have gotten no reply.Desired Settlement: I would like for Sheckys to provide a refund to the same card they charged.

Review: The day of disorganization began when we arrived in NYC at the pick up location. We were greeted by over 300 women on line waiting to board a coach bus to our destination. There were only two Shecky's workers (one person named [redacted]) there to check all of us in. We arrived at 8:30 am, but did not board a bus until 10:30am and the first vineyard visit was scheduled for 11:00am.

Traveling between vineyards was over an hour. We spent more time on long lines and traveling on the bus than enjoying time at each vineyard. As we finally arrived at the BBQ location, we had to stand on another long line for over an hour to receive lunch. This want not clearly stated in the fine print of the event purchase or itinerary. After standing in the hot sun for food, there were no seats or tables provided for the patrons to enjoy the meal. Again we were resulted to standing or sitting on the floor. There were folded chairs behind the serving tables, but when some women attempted to borrow a chair, security was called and we were told we could not take the chairs. Shecky's employees, however, were given chairs to sit.

Finally, prior to exiting the coach bus to attend the BBQ, our chaperone, [redacted], informed us to take everything with us as we will not be returning to NYC on the same bus. We can board any bus that is ready is ready to depart back to NYC. Unfortunately, this information was not clearly communicated to all patrons who attended the Shecky's event. As we boarded a bus, other patrons who were previously on that bus began yelling and arguing. A Shecky's employee, [redacted], reiterated what [redacted] stated, but then told us to get off the bus moments later. The [redacted] and [redacted] (an employee) began yelling at some of the women, using inappropriate and derogatory language. He should have been there to resolve and diffuse the situation, not escalate situation.

This trip was suppose to be a time to spend with friends and enjoy the scenery at he Hamptons, especially if I came from out state to attend the Shecky's trip.Desired Settlement: A refund check

Review: I made a deposit of $300 for an event Shecky's was holding in Boston on October [redacted] 2014. They informed me last week that they were cancelling the show along with all of their other shows for the remainder of the year. They said to contact your credit card company and dispute the charges because services were not rendered. I used my [redacted] account which is similar to [redacted] in the fact they are not a credit card. When I did contact them to dispute the charges they informed me that they could not dispute charges over 60 days. I paid for the deposit back in July 2014 and they cancelled the event in October 2014. When I tried to reach back out to them they would not let me speak with the [redacted] or anyone else that could help. They told me to contact customer service via email and they would get back to me. I had already reached out to customer service twice and never received any form of communication back. I tried to leave [redacted] the [redacted] a message but his mailbox is full. I did email him but I have not heard back as of yet. I am looking to get my $300 deposit back but not sure what other route I have but wanted to report this as I'm sure other people are going through the same thing.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a refund either by check or the card that was used.
