Bought a gift certificate and they closed before I could use it??
I got a gift certificate for Valentine's Day. My wife paid around $200 for a massage, facial and pedicure. I wasn't able to schedule it right after Valentine's Day because they only had a massage therapist that worked during the day when I worked so I was going to take a day off to get it done. I wasn't able to do it in February so I scheduled it for March. Come to find out the day before my appointment that they had shut down, which is understandable. I called the other day to reschedule it and learned that they had shut down permanently. What happens to the money that my wife has paid for services we didn't get to use?
