I ordered 3 tubes Gluten-Free, Fragrance-Free Baby Healing Lotion. The products I received are different than the ones advertised. The packaging and ingredients are different. I contacted the company twice, telling them that this bait-and-switch behavior was unlawful. They didn't respond.

Additionally (as I had mentioned in a direct e-mail to the Revdex.com), I have opened a dispute for the charge with my bank. They have sent me paper mail confirming that they are investigating the matter. They have not made a decision as of yet. I will notify the Revdex.com when a final decision is made.

I placed an order and my package was never delivered to me even though I've had several other packages successfully delivered to my address. It was returned to sender and every time I've called and e-mailed Shea Moisture I've gotten no response and have no way to get a refund or a new package.

I've attempted to reach out to this business on numerous occassions,
I've placed call backs, on 12//2019,12//2019, 12//2019 and 12//2019 all to no returned calls. This order was placed on black friday and of course a delay in shipping was expected however, there have been no communication as to my next steps. If the items are damaged, inform the consumer on the next steps. Honor the black Friday special and re send out the package. This is a demonstration of poor customer service,expedite my package to me. I am not looking for a refund but I do need my package. You have a phone number listed on the website to which NO ONE ANSWERS TO. That makes no sense

If your customer service number was adequate, I would not have to reach out to this extent.

I placed an order (***) for a certain kind of lotion, when it was delivered it wasn't what I ordered. I have been calling, emailing, leaving facebook messages for shea moisture for 11 days with NO RESPONSE. I have something I can't use, and didn't order. I just want my money back, and I think it's ridiculous to just IGNORE CUSTOMERS

We are sorry to hear of your experience. We found the customer's email and our team has responded to their email. They may need to check their spam/junk folder if the response is not in their inbox. We resent the email to bounce it back on top of their emails.

For their description of the product is not what they ordered, we will need the following:

- Photo of what product was received

If the product is different compared to what is ordered, we need a photo of what was received, as per our Terms, on what was received so our team can send the correct product or provide a refund if the consumer prefers a refund.

Thank you for contacting Sundial Brands. Our team has responded to the customer's original email asking for a photo of the product that was claimed to be the incorrect product. The customer finally responded back with a photo of the product on October *, 2019. Now that we have received that photo of the incorrect product claimed to be sent, our team refunded the order today, October *, 2019.

So I placed an order directly through SheaMoisture's personal website. I ordered the Manuka Honey and Yogurt shampoo, hair mask, and leave-in. However when I received my package the leave-in was missing. There was also no packing slip. I double-checked my email because sometimes they ship items separately for whatever reason but according to my shipping confirmation all of my items were supposed to be in one box. I sent customer service an email politely informing them of the issue. No answer after almost a week. So I tried their support number. Whenever I pressed the number for the correct directory I was met with a recording saying "Sorry, but this number did not answer" and then was sent back to the beginning of the prerecorded message. Their customer service is non-existent and it has really soured my love of this company and its products. I will buy my hair care products elsewhere.

Purchased products been using for years. Product clearly has issue. Skincare product. Ingredients not mixing or integrating. Contacted hq. They told me their products are “buy at your own risk” and they don’t do refunds. I think that’s crazy and it’s clearly defective. I sent pics and batch # and everything. They basically ignored me

Thank you for contacting Sundial regarding this complaint. We have spoken with Emily regarding the African Black Soap Bamboo Charcoal Foaming Facial Wash. It is normal for there to be charcoal residue that is separated from the other oils in the product. Natural ingredients may separate when the product settles. Even though the charcoal has settled to the bottom, the charcoal is still integrating with the product, allowing the wash to balance skin and remove impurities. If the customer would like a return or refund, the customer may contact the store they purchased from for further information.

Used the Shea moisture 100% VIRGIN COCONUT OIL COMFORTING MILK MASK and wound up getting a reaction where my face turned bright red and burned. Upon looking at reviews there are over 100 posted for this product online with the same problem. Why is this product still on the market?? There are no warnings of this on the packaging.

Due to differing skin types, results will vary from person to person. While some users may be able to use certain ingredients, others may not have the same result. We recommend any user who has a reaction to contact their physician for further information on what may have caused this for them. We see that the consumer has not contacted us. Please have them reach out to *** with the product UPC and lot number, and our team can assist them further.

I purchased a bottle of lotion and the pump was not working properly. I emailed Shea Moisture customer service department to request help. I received an auto reply that someone would reply within 24 hours to address my concern. Not the case here! Not only did I never receive a reply from Shea Moisture, I followed up with four more emails and still NO REPLY!! WOW!! Way to treat your customers!! My relationship with Shea Moisture has come to a screeching halt. There are plenty of other great companies out there with just as good or if not better products who actually care about the needs of their customers.

I rate this business 0 Stars but this website made me select something.
The Shea Moistures Facial Mask line literally gives your face a chemical burn.
Please read reviews of their products before purchasing to save yourself and your skin.

They also will not refund your money.
Please use CAUTION!

I purchased a box of shea moisture, ammonia free jet black hair color in january from *** applied color to my hair and it didn't work to color my hair nor the grays to jet black. I contacted target for a refund and was tokd that I need to speak with manufacturer of product. So I emailed sheamoisture and they denied me any help or a refund.

Shea Moisture is falsely advertising their Jamaican Black Castor Oil (Strengthen & Grow) Shampoo, Conditioner and Leave-in Conditioner. I purchased these items online from their web site on July , 2017. When I received the items only one item was labeled as (Strengthen & Grow) and the other items did not. In addition, they failed to state there are no refunds/returns/exchanges. They also failed to state there are additional California state charges applied to my account that was beyond shipping and state taxes (these extra fees were automatically attached after I submitted my card information and I had no option to back out of the purchase). I contacted them by email and phone to get an RA number to return the items and get a refund and that's when they asked for pictures of the items and then later said they do not give refunds for the items and that they sent the correct items.

For the extra charges *** claims were charged, please provide information regarding those charges. The order came out to a total of $41.64 which as what was charged to her card. Let us know what those extra charges are so we can look into this further.

Regardless of SheaMoisture response, I still feel they failed to disclose the name change on their Jamaican Black Castor Oil products on their website. The company assumed customers were aware the product ingredients were the same but the name was changed. A disclaimer should be noted on their website about the name change. This way it gives customers the option to purchase the items or not. I am still not satisfied on how the company does not go "over and above" to meet customer satisfaction, but actually fight tooth and nail with out bending and making a happy customer.

We used the Shea Moisture Kids Carrot and Mango shampoo and conditioner, as well as Shea Moisture Baby Raw Shea Head to Toe wash and shampoo. I purchased the items at a local retailer whom will not return the items due to use. The company refuses to assist stating their return policy does not cover retail purchases only commerce purchase from their website.
