This center collects $285 for new patient fee even you just go there for once!I had an accident about my ear early this year. I went to an urgency care and they told me have to find a specific doctor for this. I went to [redacted] center. I think Dr.[redacted] is nice. However, before I left, a lady said I need to pay about $350 after insurance. I was confused with the fee and found out they charged $285 for new patient comprehensive which was not covered by insurance. I asked the lady if this fee can be waived since I didn't need to go there anymore and it is too expensive for one or two time visitor. She refused me. I asked her if she can bill me since I can pay with my[redacted] card which I forget to bring that day. The lady said I need to pay the money before I left. So I had to pay the money. I don't know if other ear doctors also collect this fee. I write this complaint for reminding other new patients like me who just need to go there for one or two times about this charge.Desired SettlementI don't think they will refund me anyway. I think it is their rule for this charge. I just want to remind the new patients about this charge.
