***I am sorry you feel this way but you are 100% incorrect and we are getting nowhereYou are not eligible for a refund and I have been trying to transfer your domain (or give other suggestions as you have been having issues with the instructions on your end) so I appreciate if you could find someone to mediate this that is either in the business (such as whoever you want to register your domain with) or knows about domain transfers in general that you trustThe Revdex.com is not going to be able to help in any way other than continue to read repetitive information - which is getting frustrating on all end
I have never refused to transfer the domain over to my client. She asked if she could have access and I explained that the domain was on my personal account so I could update any settings that she would need. I also said that if she would like to have control over the domain, all we would need to do is a domain transfer which she initiated. Once it was initiated, I followed the steps that were needed in order to complete the transfer. The last step that I received instructed me to forward the email to my client so that she could approve and finalize the transfer. I forwarded the email and did not receive any other emails, instructions, notifications, etc...that indicated the domain transfer was completed. When I was confronted through the BBB, I explained this in an email and said that she would have to re-initiate the transfer as the email that I forwarded said the steps would have to be completed within so many days. After I requested she re-initiate the second attempt to transfer, I never heard anything back other than the messages directly through here.In short, I have never and still am not refusing transferring the domain over to her possession. There are steps/protocols that have to be followed that are out of my control and am trying to resolve this as quickly as we can. If she does not initiate another transfer, then there is nothing I can do about the domain other than let it sit in my account. With missing emails, yes she can have records of emails that may have been unanswered or sent but it does not mean that I received them on my end. If and when there was a long period of time of something unanswered. I responded truthfully.I am trying to resolve this the best I can but can only do so much on my end. I will continue to respond as needed and will try to email my client directly to do what is necessary to resolve this matter.
Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Shawna is objectively wrong in saying that she did everything that was necessary - she never responded to me when she was asked to transfer the domainShe only responded when I contacted the Revdex.comShe owes me the $refund and I want my domain transferred immediately Regards, [redacted] ***
I engaged the services of Shawna Leigh Designs for the initial building and design of a website in January of I had looked at several similar companies prior to taking her up, and felt her site most suggestive of talented, professional, affordable servicesFrom the beginning Shawna was attentive to my needs, interested in my ideas, and passionate about helping make them a realityShe communicated well and put me at ease throughout the processWith it being my first time utilizing web design services it could have been nerve-wracking, but instead it was fun, relaxed, and exciting creating the siteHaving used dozens of vendors for business related services I have seen good ones, bad ones, and everything in betweenI would rank Shawna near the top, and was very pleased with her services

She has only a website and I've searched for her mailing address and it's now where to be found. She clearly doesn't want to be found. I don't know what to do, she is winning if we cannot file this complaint
Complaint:
This unprofessional individual offers cheap website design
I clicked to order and then decided I didn't want to work with her because after several attempts to reach her, no responseI finally contacted her through her "contact form" and then she respondedI told her I needed her to respond more promptly at least to acknowledge that she received payment, and she had some snotty response and I just didn't get a good feel about her professionalism and she is just too "busy" to help with my needs. I demand a full refund but she says there are no refundsWhat very unprofessional way to run a business! !!!!Response:Shawna Leigh Designs makes it a priority to respond to all client emails within 24-hours which is outlined in our terms of service that you agreed to upon ordering the serviceI am sorry you feel that I did not give your project the attention that it deserves, however, I did respond to you within hours as soon as I was able toDue to the digital nature of the services offered by Shawna Leigh Designs, I normally do not offer refundsThis is also noted in our terms of service that you agreed to upon ordering the serviceHowever, since the project was not started, I made a one-time exception to this rule and offered you a full refund as soon as it was processed through the bankYou paid $on August 26th and you were then refunded in full on August 31st through PayPal with the transaction ID as: *** which was immediately after your funds become available again through the banking system.I understand the sense of urgency when you pay someone a lot of money and expect an end result, however, your demands for immediate communication and an immediate refund were simply not possibleI am sorry that I was unable to meet your expectations and I will make it a priority to improve as I move forward.Wishing you the best,Shawna

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. She repeatedly says that she "has missing e-mails." There are no missing e-mails - I have every one of themShe was not replying, which is part of my original complaint. She says that she sent me something to process the domain transfer - she never did. The day that I filed a complaint with the Revdex.com (August 26th), I e-mailed her to tell her that I filed this complaintShe e-mailed me back on August 27th saying that she did what was necessary for the domain transferThis is completely untrue on her part - because I am working with a third party and they never received what they needed from herBut when she e-mailed me on August 27th - that was the first time she e-mailed me since August 9th even though I had repeatedly been e-mailing her because she did not respond to my e-mails until I told her I was filing a complaint with the Revdex.com. Her entire "explanation" is rife with incorrect statements - the worst of which she says that she has "missing e-mails"There are no "missing e-mails" - she just wasn't e-mailing me back. She said that she refused to refund my money - but she refused to give me a websiteShe says that she is "willing to work on it" - but she was explicitly ignoring specific things I asked her to put on the website and she told me the website would be completed in 1-weeksIt was not even close to being completed three months after I asked herSo she says that she refuses to refund my money but I had to find a different web designer because she wasn't working on it and she had a different excuse every time she would go weeks without answering my e-mails. She needs to release the domain name immediately! It has repeatedly been sent to her! And she owes me a full refund!

I do not believe my statements are incorrectI am providing all details that I have that I can give as proofWhether or not you want to believe I have missing emails is entirely your right - but I would never lie or make up statementsThis is not how I go about businessI am more than happy to create a document with all emails that I have on file - but I am saying upfront that I have long periods where I do not have emails from either me or from client so it would be easy for anyone to say that I didn't respond.I have emailed my client about her domain and what needs to be doneI received an email that she/the domain registrar sent to my webmaster email addressIn that email, it instructed me to forward it to her address for the next steps in the processI forwarded that email to her and never heard a response back in order to keep moving forward with the transferWhen I did hear from her, she said to release the domain but I never received anything further to finalize the releaseThis is when I said that the time period has expired from the email that I forwarded and she would have to initiate the transfer againSince then, I have not received any emails about re-initiating the transfer and I can continue to forward what I've last sentAgain, I am more than happy to transfer the domain over but need you to start the process againOtherwise - there is nothing I can do to release it on my endIn terms of email, if there is a second address we both can use during the process - this would ensure that emails are being received by both parties.I never refused to give her her websiteIf she would like her website files - I have them packed up and ready to be given to her to downloadEvery website that I build is rightfully my clients from the start as soon as they orderI only build them on my development server so that they can be completed quicker but am open to working on others during the process if requested and if their host is decentDuring our time together - I have built two different sites as I explained to her she wasn't eligible the first time but was given website credit for another projectIf she was eligible for a refund, I would have already provided it but according to my terms of service and the nature of my services - she is not eligible for the rest of the refund she is requesting. In short, this is what I can offer her.1.) I am 100% more than happy to give her her domain but I can't do anything until the transfer is initiated again and to ensure that it goes smoothly, I request that we communicate by two different email addresses so that we can ensure nothing goes wrong.2.) For the website, I am assuming she no longer wants to work with me but am still open to do soOtherwise - we can either move on as as she is not eligible for any further refunds or if she wants the files of the site where we left off - I can send a download link to her if requested for resource reasons.I am trying to resolve this issue the best I can but can only do so much

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. She says that she does not believe her statements are incorrectThis is why I am providing objective evidence of how her statements are incorrectWhen she says, "Whether or not you want to believe I have missing emails is entirely your right - but I would never lie or make up statements" I have so many e-mails where I am e-mailing her and repeatedly asking why she wasn't responding to me so she cannot say that "I am claiming" that the extended e-mail gaps are when she wasn't e-mailing me - because I have proof of it! She never e-mailed me about "what needs to be done." I was e-mailing HER since the beginning of July asking her to transfer this domain and she refused to do itThis is why I can't have her complete my website - because she "says" she is willing to do it - BUT SHE DOESN'T DO IT! She owes me a full refund and she needs to transfer my domain immediately.

[redacted]I am sorry you feel this way but you are 100% incorrect and we are getting nowhere. You are not eligible for a refund and I have been trying to transfer your domain (or give other suggestions as you have been having issues with the instructions on your end) so I appreciate if you could find someone to mediate this that is either in the business (such as whoever you want to register your domain with) or knows about domain transfers in general that you trust. The Revdex.com is not going to be able to help in any way other than continue to read repetitive information - which is getting frustrating on all end.
I do not believe my statements are incorrect. I am providing all details that I have that I can give as proof. Whether or not you want to believe I have missing emails is entirely your right - but I would never lie or make up false statements. This is not how I go about business. I am more than happy to create a document with all emails that I have on file - but I am saying upfront that I have long periods where I do not have emails from either me or from client so it would be easy for anyone to say that I didn't respond.I have emailed my client about her domain and what needs to be done. I received an email that she/the domain registrar sent to my webmaster email address. In that email, it instructed me to forward it to her address for the next steps in the process. I forwarded that email to her and never heard a response back in order to keep moving forward with the transfer. When I did hear from her, she said to release the domain but I never received anything further to finalize the release. This is when I said that the time period has expired from the email that I forwarded and she would have to initiate the transfer again. Since then, I have not received any emails about re-initiating the transfer and I can continue to forward what I've last sent. Again, I am more than happy to transfer the domain over but need you to start the process again. Otherwise - there is nothing I can do to release it on my end. In terms of email, if there is a second address we both can use during the process - this would ensure that emails are being received by both parties.I never refused to give her her website. If she would like her website files - I have them packed up and ready to be given to her to download. Every website that I build is rightfully my clients from the start as soon as they order. I only build them on my development server so that they can be completed quicker but am open to working on others during the process if requested and if their host is decent. During our time together - I have built two different sites as I explained to her she wasn't eligible the first time but was given website credit for another project. If she was eligible for a refund, I would have already provided it but according to my terms of service and the nature of my services - she is not eligible for the rest of the refund she is requesting.
In short, this is what I can offer her.
1.) I am 100% more than happy to give her her domain but I can't do anything until the transfer is initiated again and to ensure that it goes smoothly, I request that we communicate by two different email addresses so that we can ensure nothing goes wrong.
2.) For the website, I am assuming she no longer wants to work with me but am still open to do so. Otherwise - we can either move on as normal as she is not eligible for any further refunds or if she wants the files of the site where we left off - I can send a download link to her if requested for resource reasons.
I am trying to resolve this issue the best I can but can only do so much.
Shawna Leigh Designs, did a wonderful page for my business, totally revamped what I had. She is great at communication and emailing me back and assisting my needs. She let me view what work she has done and made any corrections so I can see them online. I sent the last revision to her and everything should be ready to post online within the next few days! Thank you Shawna!
