When we hire a guy it is policy that he rides in... a truck for a year or until we see he is ready to go on his own. We have weekly meetings every Monday with continued education trying to eliminate any problems like these. There is no way of denying this misdiagnosis if a guy comes right behind us and simply replaces a wire and it works. I cannot argue the fact that we were wrong. Now as for the switch being turned off that is something we do due to the fact if we don't and homeowner's keep trying to turn the unit on, it could cause a fire. This is something I don't think both sides would want. All this said. I apologize for the inconvenience and misdiagnosis.
