Customer *** *** called Shary’s Plumbing and spoke to Melissa on 8/15/at 11:52amWu explained there was a “leak coming from the upstairs bathroom going to the basement, basement ceiling was water loggedKey was in front of door, there is a downspout and brick beside downspout key was under
brick”Our plumber went out and found the toilet was leaking around the flangeThe plumber pulled and reset the toilet with a new wax ring (invoice #17-attached), tightened the toilet to the food and replaced the fill valve (old one was not working)Tested the toilet and there was another leakThe plumber called the homeowner to review and the owner said NOT to proceed with anymore workLeak in laundry room is from laundry tub pump, recommended replacing the pump The plumbing we worked on (in question) was the master bathroomWhen the plumber arrived he found the ceiling under the master bathroom was extremely wetPlumber removed the drywall around the damaged area and saw the subfloor wet as wellWe then proveeded to flush the toilet in master bathroom (back of house) and saw the leak looked to be coming from toilet flangeWhen this happens you start with a wax ring replacement, normally means there is a defective wax ring or the toilet itself is leaking (process of elimination)The plumber attempted to make contact with homeowner and was having service issues, finally contacted owner and explained to her that the toilet was leaking and she said to not continue workCustomer emailed us to complain stating we did no work and she had *** Plumbing out, they resolved issue apparentlyUpone reviewing ther bill service ticket (attached) you can see that *** went out 8/16/and they diagnosed a different bathroom than our plumberInvoice stated “Upstairs hall bathroom toilet leaking into basement, fund wax ring had not been replaced”As you can see of course it wasn’t replaced as this was a different toilet, not the one we worked on AT ALLOther plumber also found issue with leaking laundry sinkThis plumber had to then return 08/17/to replace the flange from the continuing leaking toilet In conclusion, Shary’s Plumbing LLC came out and the technician found a leaking toilet in the master bathroom, we did not work on the hall bathroom and I cannot speak for the bathroom toilet or work done (toilet *** worked on)All we can say is, the master bathroom toilet was leaking and we replaced the wax ring to stop the leakWe gave the customer the pricing as we always do before starting work (especially with new customers) and told her the total at completionRather than discussing work, etcshe called another company who corrected a different leak in a different bathroomI cant help if another company has different charges, we are very fair in the market and we did good work for the customerHad we been called back out we could have showed the work completed, but we were not given the chanceWe deserve to be paid for the toilet we fixed and MsWu has not been willing to compromise, asking to pay just $for hours of workI am willing to discount an hour of labor $if we can get this resolved by January 31st Thank you! I am rejecting this response because: What the business said in the response was not true, my other bath room was not leaking at all, and I told the service guy exactly which bath room need to be fixed, why he went to fix the other one I did not asked, nobody will think it's reasonable, if he did the work I did not requested, why I have to pay? It's ridiculous
