We apologize if you feel Sharp's Plumbing Co., Inc has taken advantage of you in any wayPrior to any work being done a conversation of our cost took place on 04/We range from $an hour per manand $$an hour for two men, which is $an hour to
$an hour cheaper than our competitors. As stated on you invoice (J-258), more than just a trap assembly was replacedThere were strainers, inlet outlet kit as well as trap assembly done on 04/12/Pulling and identifying tub/shower faucet cartridges, seatsand stems sometimes require two peopleOne person needed to hold fixture in place toprevent damage while one person is pulling on cartridge/stemAs per our conversation on04/12/16, You identified fixture as a "Delta tub/shower faucet", which would require two people to remove bonnet nut to prevent damageIn closing, we are the most affordableour labor fees were discussed prior to the work being stated, and again as stated on your invoice, a lot more than just the trap assembly was doneWe again apologize if you feel our prices are too high, however your concem should have been addressed on 04/12/during our discussion about labor prices, in turn we could have refused service and you could have found a different plumber.Sharp's Plumbing Co.• Inc
Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:The Plumber did nothing to address my concernsThe task to replace the facet stems was not a two person jobI have done this several times and I am not a plumberHe never told me the job would require two plumbers to disassemble the faucetI told him I thought from memory, as I have done it before in another unit that it was a delta, but he would have to confirmAs I mentioned the process is a simple oneTurn off the hot water supply, dissemble the hot stem(mins) and then I went to *** ** and purchased the replacement parts for bothI returned and turned off the water supply for the buildingTravel and time to turn off full supplyminsThen replace both stems(5-6) mins and turn on the main water and check for leaksWhole thing took me an hourI have no special tools and project cost me parts and an hour of my timeTo say you need two plumbers to do this task is frankly beyond the pale and in my opinion price gougingIf the plumber had told me it would be $prior to start and he would need two plumbers to do the job I would have gone elsewhereThis was NOT what was told to meI am more than willing to pay for the portion of work I think is fair which is the time for replacing the trap in the kitchenAn then to have absolutely no concept of client satisfaction when I called him on itRidiculousRegards,*** ***
