Sharp Manufacturing and Contracting

I am shocked at the wonderful rating this site gives this nasty company A 4-day job is still ongoing at 179 days. We have gone through the process of filing with the ROC and Sharp was issued a directive, after spending time preparing for the inspection in advance, but most items were deemed "minimum industry standards".The concrete does NOT look like their brochure or their showroom. We believe the stain has been compromised in several areas so it's more dull and noticeable. Our house walls, retaining walls, and other items were over sprayed with stain. When they tried to repair the paint, they got paint on the new concrete. Several times, this was repeated like a circus. Our septic system clean outs were covered with their concrete mixture and had to be cleaned out, but are still cemented shut. Even with photos of the process, ROC says there is no 'proof' they are responsible since our house is 25 years old. Our 'old' driveway is stained with their product. We have before and after photos and photos of their trucks leaking product, but that is not proof enough. They never covered the pool and got stain and sealer in it. They attempted to clean it, but gouged the pebble tec off and left a rusty razor blade in the bottom of our pool. The concrete pebbles in our navigator was excessive and we had to take it in for repair twice. They removed our pool fence and charged us an extra $350 to reinstall it. The deco drain in our contract was to be steel. They installed plastic, incorrectly, and sprayed it with the stain. It had to be completely replaced and installed better. The finish around our patio columns was rough and unsightly, They had to sand and resurface to try to make it look better. They pay no attention to detail. Sharp refused to repair several long cracks, claiming that they would just come back and if they filled them now, they would not be warranted later. Their employees were consistently hours later than shceduled and many times they did not show up at all. No communication. One night we came home well after dark and an employee was working in our backyard using his cell phone light. One of their employees was on his cell phone constantly. Frustrated after several months of this, we asked him to hang up and focus on finishing the work properly... he THREW his phone across our yard! This was scary for my wife and we did not feel safe with him at our home after that display of temper. Both of the managers were rude, insulting, aggressive, made personal attacks on us and lied about our attitudes with them. They refused our calls, told us not to email them and at one point told us they could slow our job down. And they did. We signed a contract and paid the down payment on June 10, and the job did not start until Sept. 11th, 2025. To top it off, they took out a 20 day notice of lien on our property a full 8 months after they received our down payment and 4 months after being paid over $33K in full. This is harassment.! We believe the stress of dealing with Sharp contributed to my husband's emergency heart surgery 3 weeks ago. Be aware, you will be doing yourself a big favor to NOT use this company.

Last year they repaired our pool deck and it lasted for about 2 months. They kept sending the same, inexperienced crew back 4 times. The last time one of them let himself into our backyard, fixed a one part of what he came for and left with a text message once he was gone.
Currently, pool deck has multiple spots with discoloration, I am assuming from chlorine, and at least one tear. The painted patio and pathway to the pool just stayed looking awful since day one, when we were told that they will look better once they fade a bit. I contacted them 38 days ago and still haven’t heard back. Sending an email one more time before reporting them to ROC.

The guys that came out to put in my new artificial grass did a great job! I could tell how hard they worked to finish my job and do it rightI offered them water even though they were prepared with their own water already, and they were very politeI am happy to have a nice green lawn that is low maintenance nowIt's a serious time saver to not have to be outside mowing the lawn anymore, but still have the benefits of having a nice green lawn

My stamped concrete job just finished and I wanted to let everyone know that the crew was very nice, efficient, cleaned up and politeYou don't see that much anymore and I really appreciate their hard work and good attitudes

I decided that it was about time that I fix up my pool and patio in my back yardI searched for a few options on it and ended up deciding to use Sharp ContractingI was very surprised with how smooth the process was, and I now have a completed backyard! It feels great to see how nice everything is now that the work is finished, and I felt like everyone was always ready to answer my questions

I love how my job turned outI found that the people who came out to work on it had a happy attitude, and it shows on the quality of the workI would gladly recommend Sharp Contracting to anyone who wants a makeover for their yard or landscapingI'm impressed with how hard the workers work even now that it is starting to get hot outsideKeep it up you guys!

I hired Sharp Contracting to refurbish my pool cool deck and my concrete patio
Basically, the "refurbishing" of the cool deck consisted of painting it with a roller The paint ended up on my pool tile, landscaping, and in the pool
The paint on the patio is already peeling It has not even been 1/months since the job was done

I recently had some stamped concrete done in my front yard along with the artificial grass and I think it looks so niceI was happy to offer the workers water as they worked, and I'm happy to have my yard looking so niceIt's been a wonderful experience with this company, and I will gladly use them again if I decide to do anything in my back yard

It's swimming season and I noticed that my pool decking was coming apart in several placesI decided it was time that I do something about it after years of ignoring itI found Sharp Contracting in an ad that said they do pool decking restores and decided to give it a tryIt was a very smooth process and I was able to get my pool deck restored without any issuesI'm happy with how much better it looks and not having to worry about the damage that I had before the restore

Sharp contracting replaced my driveway and walkway to my homeIn the process they caused damage to the cement around the base of my home, around the garage door, the molding around the garage door, and broke the sprinkler pipesSharp contracting fixed the sprinkler pipes prior to installing the new drivewaySharp contracting has been out twice to fix the damaged caused to the garage door and cement, but has failed to complete the workRepairs still need to be done, and my garage door doesn't close all the way downWe had a scheduled appointment to finalize all repairs today 1/7/between 7-11am and they failed to call or show upThis is not the first time an employee at Sharp contracting has told us they will be out, and they do not show up! I need to have these repairs fixed ASAPThe driveway was replaced on December 18th

I recently had my pool redone and wanted to get new landscaping to go with my poolI called up the company and got a free estimateI wanted to have some fake grass with edging as well as a nicer patio to go with my poolI got a good estimate and I'm excited to see how the work turns outThey have just started with the work, but it's already looking greatI'm excited to see the completed project!

I have known about the cracks in my side walkway and front walkway for a while, but ignored them for many yearsI decided that I wanted to get them fixed and started to look around to see who could fix my concrete, and I found Sharp ContractingI was able to have them repair my concrete, and I decided to get some coloring for it tooMy concrete looks good as new, and even better now that is has style to itThank you for the hard work, and I'm very happy with how everything turned out

We love our new landscaping around our house! We upgraded our front entryway with stamped concrete, extended our back patio, and built a BBQ island in the back complete with a sitting wall and everything we will need for fun backyard parties!
