Review: Hired company September 2, 2014 to move me from [redacted] to [redacted] on October 1,2014. On Sept 30th I received a telephone call from the owner [redacted] requesting I change moving date as he had put another job before mine on October 1st in early morning. I told [redacted] I was unable to change the date having already given notice and taken off work days for the move. He advised the movers would arrive at approximately 11:00AM October 1, 2014 instead of 9:00AM. The movers never showed up until 4PM in the afternoon and did not even get to home in Erie until midnight. I requested an early morning move as the house I was moving into did not have complete electricity thus would need to complete move by about 9:00PM when it becomes dark outside. At 2:00 AM I finally went to bed and left movers downstairs. When got up next morning I found my entire front room packed from floor to ceiling with extremely heavy boxes. The boxes on the floor began to break and their contents began to break from the pressure of being packed to the ceiling. I am a single older woman with health issues and am unable to maneuver these boxes around, furniture was hastily assembled and some pieces like my expensive bedset had the entire wooden base sloppily put together and this piece has since broken due to the movers extreme disregard and and apparent haste to complete this move. The next day one of the movers returned and wanted to collect a check for $1000. I have used this moving company three times previously and never had a problem until this time. Extremely poor unprofessional work.Desired Settlement: No settlement requested
