Review: Dr. F[redacted] ordered the wrong contacts for me, after I specifically stated I DID NOT want daily contacts, that I liked Acuvue and would perfer them. He proceeded to order Dailies for me. When I was called and told they were there for pick up I was never told the final price. When I left one of my two jobs and went late to my class during finals week to pick them up, was when I was told they were $170 when I asked why my insurance did not cover that, they said my insurance only covers it if I HAVE to wear contacts. I did not leave with my contacts or pay anything towards them, I contacted my insurance company myself and they informed me that they were NEVER contacted that I saw a new doctor and they most certainly would cover my contacts up to $400 in a 24 month period. So, Dr. F[redacted] or Sharon Optical never billed my insurance company and tried to have me pay full price for the contacts that I did not want.

Further more, when I called to have them send my perscription to me, I got another run around. First the "office Manager" was not in the office 3 times that I called but it was only her call to have my prescription sent to me. Not a single other person in the office could fax that to me because she refused to allow them to send it to me while I had contacts sitting there that were not paid for. On the fourth time that I called I was finally able to talk to said "Office Manager" who happened to be the most ignorant person I have ever talked to, she was short, could care less that I was on the phone with her, and it sounded like she was eating her lunch in my ear. She told me my contacts had been sitting there for a month (they would not have been had she called me back one of the first times I called that office) and that she will ONLY send me MY perscription if she/the office sends the contacts back and not hold them there for me any longer.

Extremely disappointed with this office. Will never go back there for anything, nor will I promote his business to any family members or friends.
