To Whom it May Concern,While it is true that we did find it necessary to cancel the lesson yesterday, 2/5/due to inclement weather we tried to rectify the situation to the best of our abilitiesDue to our existing schedule for Saturday 2/6/16, none of the scheduled instructors would be in the
Dedham area on this dayOur terms and service agreement clearly states that picking up at a student's house is optional and we reserve the right to change the location of piand drop-off at our discretionSince the student in question does have a road test scheduled with Sharon Driving School and the RMV on Sunday 2/7/we view it as beneficial to drive ion the area so as to acclimate herself to the roads and potential hazardsIf the customer decided not to arrive for the road test on Sunday it should be understood that she will forfeit the money she has paid us and the RMV for the road test as these are scheduled and paid for two (2) weeks prior to the test dateWe have told the customer that since the lesson prior to the test was not administered she would be eligible to receive a refund of $but as to the remainder of the road test fees, $that according to our terms and service agreement is not subject to refundIncluded in this response is a copy of the terms and service agreement with the necessary information highlightedThank you for your time.Sincerely,SDS Management

Sharon Driving School (SDS) states that if I remove the truthful reviews they will refund my $140.00 however the reviews were written because of SDS’s owner’s lack of a professional response to my initial inquiries. I did get frustrated during my attempts to ask what I considered pertinent questions regarding the day of the road test when the owner refused to answer the questions and simply continued to refer me to the parent class that occurred 5 months earlier. She was belligerent and abusive, hanging up on me twice and 2 days later my husband once. At no time did either of us resort to profanity. I resorted to emails after it was clear that the owner would continue to hang up on us if we called and it hadn’t been made clear that she had cancelled the road test. Her emails were abusive: “YOU NEED TO CHECK OUT YOUR HEARING! TEST HAS BEEN CANCLED”. Another direct quote: “ WE again explained everything in a parent class!Apprearatly somebody was not paying attention at all! “ These are lines from her emails that I copied and posted into this response as I did with my online reviews. Her email responses are in capital letters with snide, hurtful remarks. Her behavior overall was not conducive to problem solving. She also posted this on Dec. 3rd, 2017, “MONEY WILL BE REFUNDED FOR A TEST WITHIN 30 DAYS”. In their response SDS stated that before refund discussions were concluded I had written my reviews, however I wrote them on Dec. 5, 2017, which you can see with the reviews. I gave SDS the benefit of the doubt and waited a full month, Dec. 3 to Jan. 3 before I reached out again for my promised refund. She now states that she’ll refund my $140.00 if I retract my reviews. This has prompted me to make a formal complaint instead of a simple review. She did not honor her word before and I don’t believe she’ll honor it now. The bottom line is that I paid for a service she did not provide, by law she is required to refund my money. I believe that we will never see eye to eye on the details of how this situation came to be. I have a chain of emails and documentation to support all I’ve said and the witness of my son and husband. I simply want my $140.00 back and to forget that SDS ever existed.  Thank you,[redacted]

[redacted] driving school has scheduled a test for [redacted] for 6/17/17. On 6/16/17 at 8 pm he send us an email that he will not be showing up for a road test and he wants his money back. We have scheduled a road test with rmv, we have paid for examiner from RMV to come out on a Sat 6/17, we can...

not add people to a road test list at 8 pm the day before, nor we can refund the money since we already paid rmv for coming to our school for a road test. Road test is usually done for a group of people and unfortunately  rmv does not allow us to cancel a test last moment, RMV will charge for not showing up for any reason. Back on forth with emails on 6/16 after hours [redacted] finally admitted that he will not be showing up for a test because his permit is in bad condition and he knows that he can not take a test with a permit like that, that is when we told him that he lied about a reason he is not showing up, we have all his emails saved. When he told us that he has a death in a family we offered to reschedule to another day but he would have to pay a fee and that is what he did not like, we offered him to come earlier and he did not like that idea either, then he told us that his permit is not in good condition that is when we told him money is not refundable. We send email about no refund and it stayts  on our website that customers agree to a term that money for a test is not refundable His response was" When did I lie my dads daughter overdosed on heroin this pass week so hope you feel good when and my father come in tomorrow proving she passed away you are pathetic I saved all your emails of you [redacted] it"  . The incident with his step mom, she came into our office started threatening the owner of the company that if we do not giver money back she will call the police, we do not tolerate threats, we told them to leave and not to contact us again. We have rules that are set by RMV, We really wish that we would have called [redacted] police, because the Step Mom was screaming and scaring kids that were in a class. Again money is not refundable,we did what we were supposed to do we offered to reschedule and he did not want that.

At Sharon Driving School, we are bound by the rules and regulations set by the Registry of Motor Vehicles. When the school applies for road test services it is explained to the parents and the students that the date in question is strictly tentative. Mrs. [redacted] signed her son up for a December 3rd...

road test through our school after her son completed the entire driver's education program. As we explained to the [redacted] family many times, the road test date and times are set by the RMV and we as the driving school have no control over the decisions made by the RMV. This tentative date policy was explained to the [redacted]s during their son's classroom hours, during the parent class and is also included in the contract that is handed to the students and signed by the parents. When Sharon Driving School received confirmation from the RMV about the road test on December 3rd, we found out that half of the list, including Mrs. [redacted]'s son, were to be tested on Friday December 2nd. We notified the [redacted]s as quickly as possible to inform them of the date change and scheduled a test for after school at 2:30 PM. At this point, Mrs. [redacted] called to see if there was any way we could not do the test on the 2nd. We explained to her that the test dates are set by the RMV and that as long as she arrived with her son between 2:30 and 4:30 PM, her son would be admitted for the test. Mrs. [redacted] at this point became aggravated and began to yell and use profane language over the phone to the owner. After verbally assaulting the owner, Sharon Driving School decided to cancel the road test for Mrs. [redacted]'s son, since if her son was to fail, there may be accusations of retaliation against her son for her behavior. Before discussions of a refund were concluded, the [redacted] family posted negative reviews against the school that is full of lies. Up until this point, the [redacted]s and Sharon Driving School had enjoyed a very cordial relationship, the son was able to complete his training in a timely manner and never once had a lesson cancelled or experienced a delay in his education. We asked that the [redacted]s remove the slanderous statements online and once done a refund would be issued.
