[redacted] To whom it may concern,I am writing on behalf of the above complaint This is a case of a bad customer and should be on the customer beware listThis customer broke her own contract on February 23rd when she told the company that this was not working when the company still had days to touch up a few things The customer has filed reports, dispute amounts, an had altered invoices as Every Invoice was emailed to the customer and I can provide every email sent I have every receipt for every piece of material purchased The customer has claims of not working hour weeks, when we had workers at her house and available to work every day except when she sent home the COMPANIES Workers, she was upset because she felt that work should have started at 8am and Shane needed to be on the job himself from 8am to 5pm regardless of the negative winter weather Regardless if he worked to she did not feel that hour days would be more productive than just hour days, it was her way to be controlling.I have several text messages from the customer telling me to feel free to have the guys work as late as they would likeWe tried to explain to the customer that as a business we could not turn down every job even small jobs or after her job was complete we would not have any jobsThis customer even showed up at other jobsite even after we told her we needed to take a few days to get other jobs started before letting our workers at it alone Due to this customer we lost jobs, was a full house When Shane left to pick up material, if he took longer than she thought it should take the customer would start texting and calling Shane and myself wanting to know where Shane was and what was taking so long This customer also tried turning workers against Shane and Shane against workers She did the same with one of our subcontractors Customer talked bad about Shane not being at her house at 8am and asked our SubContractor to micro manage Shane and our crew then when the subcontractor billed her he made it secretive and he billed as material which Shane had paid for himself and provided receipts and the customer brought the bill to us and questioned how we would have receipts for material when she paid the subcontractor for material which than cause a big dispute and bad relationship with this subcontractor now and when we met with the Sub with the Customer he explained it as an agreement between him and the customer This customer and her husband also snow plowed an $piece of equipment to bend aluminum mental which is used for 75% of our work into a snow bank instead of asking us to move it if it was in the way We then pulled the equipment out of the snow bank and placed out of the way and the customer and her husband snow plowed snow and ice over the top of it, which we have picture of and this equipment will need to be replaced When Shane went to put up the last 30ft of gutter he looked for his ladder and found that the customer and her husband threw a ladder up over a snow bank and buried it in at least 3ft of snow, which we have video of Shane trying to unbury the ladder and again did not tell us that the ladder was moved, why it was moved or that it was out in the middle of her snow covered yard As far as sub standard work, we have photos of the above standard work that was done This customer had also told persons around town that Shanes work was absolutely beautiful but he will not be at her house before 8am so she was going to get as much work out of Shane as she could and not pay him for anything additional, which we have several project the CUSTOMER stopped because she wanted something different done which we were not paid for While contracted with Shane Dean Construction the customer had another contractor coming to bid the job which one of our workers over heard her talking to a subcontractor about then customer denied it and tried turning Shane against this worker The day she was not home we packed up OUR tools, Equipment and ETC because of our fear that the Customer was going to try to destroy more of our expensive equipment while left on her propertyCustomer also did not take ANY legal action on the disputed amount but instead turned into a collection agency with a BID from another contractor to validate the collection which is not an adequate validation.Shane Dean is seeking legal counsel in regards to this customer and her claims and will be taking the [redacted] to court as she broke the contract by not letting us get to the deadline because we removed OUR tools and equipment off her property so they could NOT destroy anything elseThe [redacted] also cost us thousands of dollars of lost business because of her showing up at jobs and telling customers that Shane would not be able to work on their project even thou we had workers working on her project They also damaged thousands of dollars in equipment They also have made untrue statements about Shane and as we live in a very small community has damaged future business. The [redacted] in fact owe Shane Dean, Shane Dean Construction approximately $23,plus for work not paid for, unable to complete due to her breaking the contract and the jobs lost, this not include projected future jobs we will not get because of her accusations.Sincerely, [redacted] Shane Dean ConstructionPlease feel free to contact me at [redacted]
