Mr [redacted] called us and I spoke with him about the complaintHe was correctA billing for that service should not have go outHe has not paid the bill and I assured him that we would credit his account for the $billing.He asked for verification of that promise in writing and I emailed the following text to him;Mr***, In reference to our invoice no [redacted] for $99.00; We have credited your account for the amount due on this invoicePlease do not mail in a payment for this invoice The invoice for the service on September 1, should not have gone out We apologize for the mix up We hope to provide you service in the future and we will do our best not to have any more billing problems Sincerely, Craig B***
Shamrock Plumbing was hired by *** *** and *** *** to do a bathroom remodelWe provided a quote which was signed by *** ***A copy of the quote is included in this responseThe quote shows that the owners, per their request, would provide the fixtures and Shamrock would install
themShamrock Plumbing warrants all labor and material that it provides for a period on one yearHad Shamrock provided the fixtures there would be no charge to take care of any defective materialsAs it turned out, we were there to install the "owner supplied fixtures" per the agreement but one of the fixtures, the toilet, was defective (broken) and we had to schedule a return trip to install it after the owner was able to obtain a replacement for itHad we installed the toilet incorrectly our labor to re-install it would be covered by our warrantySince the toilet provided by the owner was defective it becomes the provider-of-the-material's responsibility. And so the service call to come back and install the second toilet is outside the contractWe charged Ms*** $for the service call and $for a replacement bowl wax for the serviceShe has refused to pay it even though it was not Shamrock's fault that the toilet was brokenProviding usable material for the finish install was her responsibilityShe still needs to pay the bill.Sincerely,Craig B***CFO

I am rejecting this response because:
I am writing to have complaint number *** reopenedThe last communication on the complaint was from Shamrock PlumbingThe communication indicated that the company was going to reach out to its legal department and then get back to meI have never heard back from Shamrock PlumbingWhile I was awaiting a response, my complaint with Revdex.com was closedPlease re-open this complaint as it is unresolved and Shamrock Plumbing has yet to respond to the substance of my concerns with being double billed for a service. Ms. [redacted] claims that our charge for the extra trip is covered in the contract. We think that, since the contract states that she was responsible for having the materials ready for us to install, she did not live up to her part of the contract. And, in order for us to finish the job, we had additional expense for which we charged.We have referred this matter to our legal council for their opinion.
