After reviewing the response by Shamrock Appliance Repair to my complaint, I must state I'm appalled by their response.I will not restate the facts in this case, but will respond to statements they have made 1)There was absolutely NO verbal exchange beyween myself and the repairman When he entered my home I presented him with the small broken plastic tube, and the need to replace itstating the unit was cooling just fine NO OTHER CONVERSATION TOOK PLACEI watched him begin to dismantle the unit, and shortly afer beginning he called his superior for advice, and talked with him about a test to determine whether to test for leaking refrigerant (and advising the test alone was $600) 2)The characterization of a "hostile and distracting work environment " is an outright lie, an attempt to justify their actions My wife was in the dining room next to the kitchen and will testify to every word spoken The only words spoken were to remind him the reason for the service call (He went to his vehicle, came back with a short plastic tube and fabricated the repair in a couple minutes) 3)Why would I call this company to return to repair the problem they created; (the GE serviceman stated he would gladly verify what he discovered "Scam" is a word he used to describe what he found 4) My followup call from "Jamie" was met with denial of any wrongdoing by the company, rudeness, and indignent responses SHE needs to take ownership of that conversation, and she ended the conversation by calling me an inappropriate name and hanging up, rather than trying to resolve the issue5) I'm shocked by the company using "christianity" as an excuse for their appalling conduct in this matter! I am a Christian ,and truly resent this I will restate simply, the basic fact: I had a refrigerator that was functioning just fine when the serviceman from Shamrock Appliance came into my home; when he left I had a non functioning (non cooling) refrigerator, and it cost me a lot of money to correct their actions

On September 22nd 2017 My company was called out to repair Mr. [redacted]s Leaking refrigerator. Upon arriving my technician Brian began doing what he was trained to do. A leaking fridge is often a sign of a bigger problem, so he began going through the machine one step at a time. During this time Mr....

[redacted] began berating Brian & telling him not only how to do his job but questioning his overall intelligence. This made for a very hostel & distracting work environment. Brian tried his best & being nervous he was going to make a mistake in the high stress environment he called our senior technician for advice. The senior tech can only go off what the technician is telling him because he's not actually there, so he advised a leak detect test for the sealed system. Brian then replaced the small piece of plastic that Mr. [redacted] demanded & left. He charged him $129.00 which is our standard rate of labor plus tax. He didn't even charge him the $55 service fee or for the plastic part he installed. He however did not intend to leave anything unplugged or to cause any further damage. His motivation was to leave the home & NEVER have to deal with Mr. [redacted] again. Mistakes unfortunately happen (especially if your being yelled at & insulted while doing your job) & under normal circumstances we would have been happy to have offered some sort of compensation, although we are not legally responsible (he signed our contract/invoice stating that exact thing). We're a good, moral, Christian company that takes pride in a job well done & great customer service. Mr. [redacted] took it upon himself to call another company instead of ours to correct the mistake. We are not responsible for his financial decision in that matter either. On Monday he called my office and began to berate me & accuse me & my family of being scam artists. I simply will not tolerate that kind of disrespect. We work very hard here and love what we do. We did not get all our wonderful reviews by scamming people. I did inform him that he was being unreasonable & that if he wanted to have a respectful conversation with me then I would be willing, but I would not tolerate being yelled at by someone then I hung up on him. We will not be compensating Mr. [redacted] for anything & we will not be willing to do any work for him in the future. Thank you
