***) on 6/3/had ruined the engineI asked how it happened and I was told that on the way back from *** *** the vehicles check engine light turned onThey continued to drive even though the vehicle would not accelerate up to speed as it shouldThe vehicle was driven miles without being checked out by a mechanicHe told me this happened days after the day warranty had expiredThe law states that a vehicle with over 125,miles does not require an express warrantyThe vehicle had 175,but I decided to give them one anywayI offered to help them by paying for the labor for installing a new engine if they decided to purchase oneHe stated that the engine would cost $but I found one for sale for $with a month warranty at *** *** *** in L*** *** They refused and said they wanted $to resolve the problem, I stated that I was not required to give them money but would still help them with the laborI also offered to sell them a new vehicle (*** *** ***) if they paid the difference of $they said it was out of their budgetNothing has been resolved at this point and time but I am still willing to help them as I usually do after customers warranties are expiredIf they do decide to purchase an engine or a new vehicle I am more then willing to help themSincerely Shalom Auto Sales
