Review: I was visiting my son in [redacted] during this past weeks snowfall. Which was about 2 to 3 foot of snow. I was trying to get to his apartment and it was about 8:30 or 9pm that night. The city had graded the road on which I turn off to get to his road but they had not graded the road he lives on. There was snow piled up on the road which caused my truck to get stuck. He lives about a quarter of a mile where we turned off. So we got out and walked to apartment. I went back the next morning to see if I could get my truck to apartment just to find it was gone. Called police and they told me it was towed by this wrecking service. I called them and he charged me $500.00 to tow it 3 miles to his place of business. Really I want to report him for price gouging. My wife called him the very next morning and asked how much he charged to just pull a car out of a snow drift and he said probably $50 or $60 dollars. I paid the man because I had to have my vehicle. But that amount was ridiculous. I could of went along with 150 or even 250 but 500 was pathetic. I feel like I was taken advantage of.Desired Settlement: I understand the weather was bad that night or morning but I was not the one to ask him to come out. I want at least half of my money back and he needs to be investigated for this.
