Absolutely awful companyThe kid (I should of known better) walking around signing customers up told me there was no charge if I cancelled service and moved out of stateI asked twice and he guaranteed meNow i'm getting billed for $for the cancellation and the only thing the rep can tell me is "well you signed the contract right." Plus they have been charging almost $a month the last few months I was in the that apartment which has to be price gouging because we weren't even there half the timeThen they didn't shut off service on the date I requested (maybe the utility company's fault but at least the utility company refunded the days extra) and are charging me $extra for thatSo currently I owe them $700+ for a month of service, days of service that I shouldn't have been liable for and cancellation fees that I was lied to aboutThere is no negotiating with the reps either, they simply don't careBuyers beware this company is awful to work withI'm looking to settle the account if possible

My gas and electric bill went up an additional $75.00. Then in order for me to discontinue SFE services they want me to pay them $100. This is not fair to hard working people just barely making it.

Be careful when you get approached regarding SF Energy this company claims to lower your utilities services and if you are not satisfied you could cancel without any additional charges. As I just found out that is not the case. Their per unit charge is higher and they have penalty to termination their service fee of $100 which was not in their contract.
