Seward Fence Company Inc

Review: I contacted Seward Fence for installation of a fence gate for safety reasons around my pool. [redacted] came to the property and provided an estimate and gave me a project completion date of no longer than 5 weeks, which would have been June 19th. We spoke in detail about the timing of the project, as it was critical to me that the work be done before summer to insure the safety of my children near the pool for the summer. Even though I felt that June 19th was later than ideal, he assured me that that would be the latest possibility. Today is August 14th and I still have no gate. I have called at least 10 times and have been given every excuse from rain delays to vacations and being short staffed. During one phone call 2 months ago, [redacted] told me that my fence was in and ready to be installed and he would call back to schedule a time, yet never called. My husband has even gone to the business to try to help get this job done as promised. [redacted] states that he will complete the work, but does not show up. If he had told me in May that he could not commit to a time frame (meaning June), I would never have agreed to use him for the work. This has been fraudulent and extremely frustrating. I realize that it is a small job, but he did give me a commitment to do the work, and by a specific date! As of today, he has stopped returning my calls altogether. I have left messages for him 10 days ago, 5 days ago, 2 days ago and today and have received no response. If I give up and use another company, I would have to wait at least 3-4 weeks for the materials to be delivered. [redacted] has my gate. I simply want it installed as promised.Desired Settlement: I want my gate installed immediately, as promised. Date for original installation was June 19th....today is August 14th.

Did not have work done, just phoned the company to get some information. Mr. Seward was extremely rude and condescending. Definitely not a people person. I will take my business elsewhere.
