Although a reply was faxed on Saturday, March 7, it appears not to have been received, so in response to complaint [redacted] :The customer did receive two replacement machines for the original purchase and upon inspection of said machines we discovered they were in good working order The second one she returned had an incorrect bobbin in it, and that certainly would cause a machine to malfunction As might threadSince all training was declined (we don't charge for owners classes) the only conclusion we can draw is "operator error" It would be interesting to know what other authorized Pfaff dealer the machine was allegedly taken to.When we replaced the machine(s) this customer made such a fuss about how great we are - how wonderful our customer service is - on and on gushing with other customers in the store. The request that was made of us is that the machine purchased be replaced with another machine with similar features at the same discount that we offered on that model That particular machine has a MSRP of $and we were offered special pricing so we passed along the savings to our customers As you can imagine, we sold several hundred of these over the past few months - and without an owners class, it is easy to understand that mistakes may have been made e.g- wrong bobbin (they are NOT interchangable between brands or even models within the same brand) This customer was offered a gently used machine of a different brand that has similar features and the customer declined Store credit was also declined, which is what our refund policy is - clearly printed on every receipt. At this point, it sounds as though the only thing this person is interested in is making noise That's what has been done in our store - noise was madeThis customer is no longer welcome to visit our store and will be asked to leave if they come by.We are a business that is above all, customer service oriented, but there is a limit to what we will do Refunding money for a machine that likely works fine but is malfunctioning due to a lack of education is asking way too much Not to mention that the machine was originally purchased on October 14, 2014!!It is our belief that she read some negative reviews about this model and has convinced herself that it is a bad machine Personally, I enjoy mine
