Ms***was first seen in our office November 2, and her last visit with us was October 8, 2014.The charges and insurance concerns are for this last date
At the time of her last visit the insurance company Regence
changed its requirements for billing to beelectronic onlyHer primary Insurance was Premera and had to be billed first and then the EOB(explanation of benefits) sent to RegenceOnly I do not have the ability to send electronically andattach an EOB to the claimI did forward these EOB's to Regence on several times by mail only to havethem refusedI did on many occasions express to Ms*** that I was having problems with hersecondary insuranceFinally after threatening collection and doing it Ms*** did get the claimprocessed, and the insurance due was finally paid on September 9, She paid her portion $30.00on August 19, years after services were performed
When she came in on August 19th I explained to her that there were late and collection cost that hadaccrued on her accountShe said her husband would call, which I never receivedI sent a statementreminding her that I would forgive the $if she would take care of the $that the servicecharged meShe came to the office again stating that she had filed a claim with you, very happy to"show me the claim" on her phoneI forwarded the balance off again for collection the followingMonday
I understand her frustration, but I do not believe she understands that waiting years for a response tomy requests made me feel ignoredI know no small business that can afford to wait that long forpayment of services
Because it has already been forwarded back for collection it is out of my hands.Kathleen S*Office manager
