Set In Stone Fabricating

Review: Granite was installed on Oct. 2, 20013 & there were holes in the stone. They removed it & apologized, stating it was not suppose to leave in that condition. When it was installed again, the granite turned green the next day. They said they had to order this special material that would fix it. As we waited for about 2 1/2 weeks, with me frequently calling to find out the status, the granite green was spreading. They put their material on it, & said to wait. When removed it was the same. Another 4 weeks & they said they would replace. The new granite came & turned green the next day. They said they would order this paste to put on it. The paste did nothing. They never returned calls, so on about March10 we went to the showroom & asked what the next step would be. They said they could get this other paste & try it, but if it didn't work that was it. They were finished. I did not like that answer, for it was not my fault that the product is defected. It has been about 2 weeks since then, & they said they can't fit me in their schedule & didn't know when they would be able to come & apply this paste(which would only take about 15 minutes to put on & another 15 to take off). I feel I have been more than patient with them. The idea that this started back in Oct. & it is now almost April is in itself a bit much, but the idea that if it didn't work, it is my problem. They stated they would do nothing else. I was willing to wait for this paste, but now I feel that they must know this can't be fixed & they are stalling to even try it. Their granite was defective right from the start, & the idea that they said that would be the end, is not acceptable. A company is suppose to give a good product & the consumer is not suppose to accept it if it is not the quality that was expected. The problems happened immediately, & they were never satisfactorily remedied.Desired Settlement: Correct problem or replace granite counter tops or refund my money.
