Servpro of West Jordan/South Jordan/North Draper

I wish there was a "no-star" rating! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Received a quote from them to repair storm damage to roof of duplex. Estimate was high, but insurance would cover it. After they tore all the shingles off the roof, we were told it would be additional $4500 out of pocket to meet "code violations." When we told them to halt work, and we would find another roofing company, they backed off and said they could "work around it." We agreed upon a total cost, and their subcontractor, Sunstar Construction (also owned by ServePro's owner, Brad; Juan, project manager) finished the job. They were paid in full upon completion. We received an additional invoice months later for an additional $1000 for "tests" we were never told about. Our HVAC contractor came out a few weeks later to get the swamp coolers ready for the upcoming season, and found them unattached to the roof, reservoir seam broken in one, and roofing nail holes in the other. Both needed replacement. Brad never came out to inspect damage. Vent pipes were never sealed, requiring additional labor on the part of our HVAC contractor. Again, do not use ServePro or Brad's other company, Sunstar Construction of Northern Utah.
