Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: The issue that I am having was because there was an entire wall that I was told was dry so Serv Pro did not drill holes into the baseboards or the cabinets. Since this area was missed it started to grow mold and the cabinets and baseboards all need to be replaced now.

Restoration & Applied Structural Drying) to meet these standards. Our recommendations, which we felt necessary to meet these standards in Ms. [redacted]’s home remediation, were not implemented at her request. Ms. [redacted] signed SERVPRO®’s Limitations on Standard Compliance Form. Ms. [redacted]’s home was flooded by severe rainstorms. Black water mitigation standards require the removal of porous materials like dry wall, insulation, and also floating floors. Floating floors need to be removed in order to dry water trapped in the concrete under the vapor barrier beneath the laminate planks. This moisture would be able to travel to various parts of the house eventually causing moisture problems in the laminate flooring, walls, and materials attached to the walls. Ms. [redacted] did not have flood insurance and decided against removing the laminate flooring and we were only allowed to drill holes in the dry wall to force dry air into the wall cavity. She had us do a “sample” test on a small section of flooring away from the apparent source. No moisture was found under this flooring. Tell us why here...
