Ser pro picked a chair up from our home in Warsaw in Sept. of 2013 to be cleaned. The chair was not returned.Serv pro was hired to clean our home after a fire on Sept 4, 2013. They swept the walls with a broom, washed dishes (broke dishes) packed them. 1 bed room was not touched. A chair to our dining room table was not cleaned and for 1 entire yr [redacted] told me that they did not have the chair. After finally contacting corporate customer service [redacted] calls ad conveys to me that he has my chair. He also said that he had been by our home many times and no one was there. We had our homme completely remodled and I can assure you that I or my husband were there on a daily basis and if we happened to not be there the construction people were there. [redacted] could have called me at any time to let me know that he wanted to return the chair. There was also a 10 piece set of copper pots and pans that are missing. The took the set out of a box that had not been opened. One corner was torn just to make sure it was the set I had ordered. I have been thru every box that his crew packed and they are no where to be found. After many conversations with [redacted] I finally told him he could do 1 of 2 things. He could write me a check for 1500.00 and some change to replace the set or he could order another set and have them delivered to our home in Warsaw. He said he would get back to me and he never did. He did call me before thanksgiving to convey that he did have my chair and would deliver it to me the Monday before Thanksgiving; I waited all day but he never showed. I also asked him when he called what he was going to do about the pots and pans and he conveyed to me that he was not responsible for the theft. His employees have told him that they did not take the set of pots and pans but some one did. One just doesn't remember not taking them from an unopened box. I a collector of copper.Desired SettlementI have already asked him to replace the set of give me the money to buy another. He refused both request.Business Response Servpro was called to the fire damaged home on 9/5/2013, site was inspected an agreed scope of work and estimate was provided to customer. The home was cleaned to IICRC standards, home owner was satisfied and Servpro was paid for satisfactory services. I was never told and unaware of any broken items, this is the first I have heard of this. Home owner had a dinning chair she wanted us to re clean we brought it to our shop and cleaned it. Home owner was called many time to make arrangements to deliver chair she was never there or busy. I asked owner to call me when she was ready for chair and she did not call. We have had several jobs in the area and I would have my personnel go by and see if she was home , unsuccessful. Chair was finally delivered on 12/4/2014. As for the Pots and Pans, my personnel did not take her Pots and Pans, why would someone take a 10 piece set of pots and pans out of the box and try to sneak them out ride back to the shop and then sneak across the parking lot carrying 10 pieces of pots and pans. She claims the box is still there and the pots and pans were taken out. She started off saying the pots and pans were bought from [redacted] and cost $800.00 then they went to $1600.00 and now they are $1500.00. On there web site copper pots and pans go for $229.99 to $299.99. The cleaning was performed satisfactory, the chair has been returned and the pots and pans is a deceptive method to get money.
