I am rejecting this response because:I have read what Service Masters has said in regards to the repairs to my homeService Masters made serveral comments that I
would like to point out and make correct that they will not own up to... "The City of Saint Paul gave a very detailed list of things that must be repaired do to the fact that the homeowner was doing renovations to the home".The "renovations" you speak of, walls that needed to be smoothed over to give a clean look, move a toilet that was improperly placed, kitchen appliances that sat for weeks that were not put in, some walls in the basement along the stairs for safetyOverall,Items Service Masters did a botch job on or did not do correctly and did not work well with us to what is conducive to the homeMinor work, but nonetheless very noticableThe reasoning we called in our own handyman because, Service Masters would not respond to any of our calls to come back out to the home to finish repairsWe got very frustated with them and wanted the work doneLike any one person wanting the work done, and not getting the service from the company working with you, you turn elsewhere. I'm going to assume that Service Masters did not know of the City Inspectors, said list, because the side work had nothing to do with the repairs to the homeThe repairs that needed to be done to pass inspection were for the furanceNow, If Service Masters would have been in contact with the city or myself they would have known this and would not make such commentsHilliard heating and cooling were finally contacted to come out on WedJune 21, I myself was not able to be at the house but had someone there to let them inScott and Mike from Hilliard showed on time, did the work and then leftThey stated that was their first time hearing from Service Masters about coming out to the houseThough the furance list is done, because Service Masters walled an area of the venting ducts on the main floor that passes from the basement to the top floor, the City Inspector was not able to properly finish the inspectionWe were told by James LStPaul City Inspector that Hilliard would need to get a duct guy out, which we are now waiting on that to happen. With continued reading, Service Masters made this comment and just wonderingWhat does this even mean? "In addition, the city has now signed off on all the items that they stated need to be fixed or repaired" From what I am taking away from this, is that, you have been to the housefinished the workthe city inspectors have come out the home to give it a pass and all standings between us on the repairs of the home are good?! I'm a bit confused on this statement as I just received a text message from Dave of Service Masters on the evening of 7/5/"has the inspector come out to the house so we can get things started?" But, yet you said the "city signed off on all items that were fixed and repaired" As I stated above with the addtion of, It took almost 2-weeks from 6/5/when the inspector came out for Service Masters to call Hilliard to come out to my home which was on 6/21/17. I had received serveral calls from Dave of Service Masters, but had asked him to contact my son to set up times to go to the houseI do work overnights so I'm not always available to talk or meet during the dayHe refused to contact my son and continued to call me instead knowing that I have told him many times of my schedule, when I'm avilable and giving Dave an alternative person to contactIf I was able to make a call back I would not hear a response for days to a week laterSo It's not so much phone tag, but not wanting to follow directions of the consumer. In your conclusion Service Masters stated "We have no issue in finishing the work we have started"Given the time frame of all the dates listed, you say" you have no problem with finishing the work started" but it seems as though you doUpon talking with James the City Inspector, this could have been done and finished back in Feb,when he came out to inspect the home and was a bit confused about why it has taken so long, when talking with him in Jun 2017. To much time has passed and it's sad it took a complaint letter to the Revdex.com for Service Masters to respond, but you still lack in getting the job donePer statements from Hilliard that they were just called within the week of 6/21/17, that they were scheduled to come out and it was their first time hearing from Service Masters about the furance repair to me says a lot on communication, finished work and passing codes by the city per Service Masters. Service Masters likes to throw a lot of laws, rules and codes into your message, but the real problem at hand in which you have fail to produce is a finish by date! So I will set oneGiven a holiday just passed and the week is shortI want this job fully finished, City inspectors called and appointments set no later than Friday July, 2017. You can not pass a house If you can't get in the house to inspect the workIf I am not available to let whom ever in I can arrange for someone to be thereNo more saying that you're coming at, this time and no show, no callNo more playing gameswe want to be done with you as you want to be done with us.This is your statement to us and we have the rest of the money, but you will not let you make lies stating jobs are done, inspections are passed when they are not because you have to have someone at the house to let the inspectors in the home to pass the work and no one has been to the home, or has been contacted from your company"*** Signed a Change order on October 28th, in the amount of $11,to allow for framing repairs (floor leveling) and a stairway for the second level. After continued discussing with the adjuster assigned to this loss, we have sent additional supplements to try and offset the costs above the initial $86,004.12. Farmers is currently agreeing to pay $102,all of which has been dispersed to the homeowner and her mortgage company. *** has received all the funds from her mortgage company Cornerstone Home lending as of May 9th in the amount of $102,yet has only paid a total of $$90,524.55" So in my conclusionAll work and city inspections will be done and in place no later than Friday July, 14,Once all has been passed we will gladly write you a check for the remaining funds owed along with a letter from Service Masters that the lein on the home has been released as an even exchange in your office. Text message from Dave at Service Master called me and said "If the inspector has been out so we can get thing's going" If the City has already passed the house why would you be sending me this on 7/5/17?

Tell us why hereOn June 28, Air Care was called out to address why the unit was not cooling, the diagnostic/ trip fee was $79.95. Upon arrival the technician found that the compressor in the condenser unit needed replacing. We received repair authorization and went forth with
the replacement on July 11, 2016. The compressor was replaced with a Trane scroll compressor, pounds of Rrefrigerant and a suction drier for a total of $3,480.00. The unit was up and cooling upon repair and this repair came with a year parts & labor warranty. On August 2, I received a call from the homeowner notifying me that the unit was not cooling again. I sent my technician out at the earliest to the homeowner’s convenience which was on August 4, 2016. Upon arrival my technician was met by the daughter, and found that the condenser & its new compressor were in working condition, the filter was dirty and needed replacing and that the problem was with the indoor unit. The indoor unit was located underneath the home and not accessible to my technician. The mother then called our office upset since we were unable to access the indoor unit. She continued to get upset with me over the phone. I offered to refund her $diagnostic by phone & she declined at that time. I attempted to offer another company that specializes in servicing units that ae located in difficult to get to areas of the home. She was not happy with my recommendation. She did call back the following day & we refunded her the $diagnostic charge Unfortunately, we are not always able to service units located in hard to reach places
I was shocked to be charged $150 for a ten minute repair. There was a $70 service charge and then an additional $80 charge for the ten minutes of actual work. Apparently the service charge covers nothing but them knocking on your door. The plumber was very nice, but I will not be using them again and will be advising others to avoid them.
