I am rejecting this response because: The unrealistic charge if for work that was never done My offer of $is firm for what was done
We attempted to settle this complaint already with the insured, several times4/21/Spoke to adjuster and the claim is under the insureds deductible, therefore she is responsible for the invoice Spoke to insure She said she is willing to pay but is on a fixed income Wants to know if we can reduce costs 5/Manager called back Her invoice amount was 704.76, SMA agreed to reduce to 500, but she did not agreeTried to call insured Unreachable6/8/Owner of company spoke to insured Insured stated we woke her from her nap, didn’t want to talk about the balance as she just wanted to go back to taking her nap After several attempts and the accounts past due status, this account was turned over to collection agency due to lack of cooperation with the insured, and non-payment The amount in collections is the original invoiced amount plus interest I told our accounting department that the lowest we could go to accommodate her is $375, prior to collections, but that is very much below the cost of the job we did and the company is losing money I can’t settle for per her Revdex.com complaint offer Because we her unable to make a realistic settlement with the insured we now have an addition 20% to pay on top of any amount collected for payment, for collection fees If she would like to settle for $then I am fine with that Our costs still are not covered, but she will also need to pay the collection company fee now 375+75, as the debt is no longer owned by our company at this point, and the collection company is also entitled to their fee This is why we always push settlement before collections It’s very unfortunate that this couldn’t have been settled previously We very much tried and like I stated we are under the cost already having provided this service, but I was willing to settle to close the file and not to have to precede with collections Please let me know if I can further assist you Thank you, [redacted] CEO
I am rejecting this response because: The unrealistic charge if for work that was never done. My offer of $150.00 is firm for what was done.
We attempted to settle this complaint already with the insured, several times. 4/21/16 Spoke to adjuster and the claim is under the insureds deductible, therefore she is responsible for the invoice. Spoke to insure. She said she is willing to pay but is on a fixed income. ...
Wants to know if we can reduce costs. 5/16 Manager called back. Her invoice amount was 704.76, SMA agreed to reduce to 500, but she did not agree. Tried to call insured. Unreachable. 6/8/16 Owner of company spoke to insured. Insured stated we woke her from her nap, didn’t want to talk about the balance as she just wanted to go back to taking her nap. After several attempts and the accounts past due status, this account was turned over to collection agency due to lack of cooperation with the insured, and non-payment. The amount in collections is the original invoiced amount plus interest. I told our accounting department that the lowest we could go to accommodate her is $375, prior to collections, but that is very much below the cost of the job we did and the company is losing money. I can’t settle for 150 per her Revdex.com complaint offer. Because we her unable to make a realistic settlement with the insured we now have an addition 20% to pay on top of any amount collected for payment, for collection fees. If she would like to settle for $450 then I am fine with that. Our costs still are not covered, but she will also need to pay the collection company fee now 375+75, as the debt is no longer owned by our company at this point, and the collection company is also entitled to their fee. This is why we always push settlement before collections. It’s very unfortunate that this couldn’t have been settled previously. We very much tried and like I stated we are under the cost already having provided this service, but I was willing to settle to close the file and not to have to precede with collections. Please let me know if I can further assist you. Thank you, [redacted] CEO
