Review: After my home fire 7/**/12- A selection of companies to clean up and the restoration to home was provider by my insurance company. Service master was selected. Please note: There are several Service Masters franchises on Long Island this [redacted] one is correct and telephone number is correct one.There are many and several individual restoration items not completed by Service Master and or any of his hired sub-contractors (note Attachment)spreadsheet list indicates list of unfinished items. Also, I have come to find out although the Insurance Company paid Service Master directly for plans, permits and fees none were ever filed for. A check with Town of Hempstead Building Department no, electrical, plumbing permits were filed either. Service master as a ** would be responsible for them.In addition, checks (3) issued by my insurance company and endorsed by me I gave to [redacted] who said he would take care of it. Not having this type of situation in my life everyday, I did not come to find out that those checks were to go to my mortgage company to be put in escrow while reconstruction was ongoing. It was to be distributed as property was repaired and restored and inspected by mortgage company so a situation such as this doesn't happen. I have come to find out these checks were deposited directly into Service Master Premier Drying checking account at their bank without mortgage company's endorsement although listed on check.I have requested several times via email, phone, letter and certified mail for copies of everything to included contracts, billing, receipts, any official documents , permits, cost of materials and general description of purchases and cost.Desired Settlement: Request all documents as listed and all outstanding restoration, repairs and items incomplete to be completed and finished to my satisfaction
