Serenity Massage and Spa

Review: I had and appointment for a facial today, 3/20/13 @11am at serenity spa and massage. I arrived on time and filled out the paperwork that was given to me. The receptionist was speaking to a policeman, so I was not greeted just given paperwork to fill out. I poured myself a cup of coffee and waited to be seen. 15 mins later, a woman came out to the waiting room and began to argue with me about having my eight month old, sleeping baby with me. I assured her that she just went down for a nap and would be sleeping for the next hour or so, and if she woke and began to cry I would leave. She would not stop arguing until I asked her to stop for fear that she would wake my baby. She went to the back and came back 10 mins later. She took me back to the room where the procedure was going to take place and continued to argue with me about where I was going to put the stroller, etc. the room was huge and there was plenty of space for all of us. After arguing with this woman from the moment I met her I had to leave, without getting the service I paid for completed. I have been to many spas and salons and never have I experienced such ill mannered behavior from a "professional." It was horrible! I felt attacked and discriminated against frm the moment I walked in until I was forced to leave. Please note, during this entire fiasco, not once did my baby make a sound, which is what the issue was about in the first place. The woman, who did this to us was the problem! I would advise against anyone going there for wellness or relaxation.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund and apology!

We asked for a refund from [redacted], and they agreed to it; however, we

did not receive the refund as of yet. I imagine it will be coming

soon.

Another point I forgot to mention: when I arrived at serenity, the

owner, stated that children were not permitted in the spa, saying it

was their policy. I was not informed of this "policy" at the time I

made the appt, nor was it stated on their website before or

immediately after my appt.
