Review: I signed a contract with this company to build my home in April 2012 and they have not finished the job and signed off on the contract yet. There are several product and construction issues, some of which I was willing to overlook but they have not come back to complete the job and will not answer any of my calls or emails or texts. The tile flooring is completely uneven making it a hazard and it is installed crooked at most walls, The rear siding is warped. The kitchen counters are defective and installed improperly as the screws are comming through the island. The kitchen cabinets have dropped below the trim. I didn't get the screen doors I asked for. I allowed them to install two master bath vanities other than the one piece I requested because they did not purchase it in time but both are chipped and unprofessionally installed where the pipes enter. The house was to be delivered on or before July 2013 but due to a hvac permit which was improperly applied for we had a two month delay. We got the keys on Oct 1 in the evening but were not able to live there before Nov 1 because after moving in for two weeks we found they never shocked the well and the water was dirty. We were told we had to pay for a dumpster and a portajohn and there were never either onsite. There are crooked walls and many more issues and I can't even get them to respond to a few of my issues. I had two of their sub contractors contact me for payment when they were to be paid at the time of the draw they were working in. I was assured they would be back but apparently we don't owe them enough money to make it worth honoring their contract. Serendipity Homes LLC is a dishonest and deceptive business as far as I my experience goes. I don't know what they did with the money we gave them but they did not get the products we asked for when they were supposed to and that created issues especially with the tile flooring. I am very upset, my wife is very upset and more than disapointed and these are not the only issues outstanding.Desired Settlement: At this point since I have been very patient and still am avoided at every point of contact I want a refund because I do not trust them to complete the job. I know they think they are not liable because the contract says any breach of contract is to be resolved by an arbitrator (which I am sure they will not participate in and the cost will fall solely on me) but they are incorrect and nothing less than the cash value to correct the problems will suffice.
