Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
The response from the Junk Pros Team is not true 1-When I contacted their office to request a quote, I spoke with Rose She quoted $- $per load and stated that it would only take one or two loads I described in detail the contents of the apartment to be sure that the quote was accurate She specifically stated that unless it was a situation of hoarding (which it was not), that it would not take more than two loads I had a friend at the apartment when Junk Pros arrived When Craig, the supervisor phoned me on the day of the job and told me what a big job it was, I phoned the office to complain Because I complained so vehemently, Gary did give me a discount He also clearly stated that Rose should have offered for me to have an in person estimate, and that he does not know why she did not2-Regarding the donations, here is a direct quote from their website:"We will sort, bag, dispose of everything that can't be recycled (we are very environmentally responsible) and even arrange for charitable donations of those items from a home or estate clearance that can be sent to organizations like The Salvation Army or Goodwill..." I emailed the following to Gary prior to reporting to the Revdex.com and never got a response: "I understand and am well aware of the difficulties in donating large pieces of furniture However, I feel quite certain that does not apply to other items such as: beautiful small sconces, crystal stemware, decorative drinking glasses, everyday dishes, and other kitchen ware I cannot imagine the charities would not accept those items Perhaps you can provide me with documentation from various charities that they are not accepting such items? Otherwise, I feel that I need to report this to the Revdex.com. So, this most recent response from Junk Pros is not honest, and not helpful I expect that this matter will be resolved more satisfactorily. Thank you

1/ [redacted] did contact our office and asked for a phone quote to empty out her father’s apartment, she was told our price per load $790 to $930 (our basic rate $650 per load + 140 to $280 additional for apartment building depending of distance, numbers of elevators, elevators size and other...

factors in apartment. (So 1 load $ 790, 2 loads $1580 etc… ). She told that it will be better to have an estimate done is person (our policy for bigger jobs) but she explained she could not do that because she has a baby and she does not live near and she will have a person meet our crew the day of the job. On the day of the job Upon arriving, our supervisor Craig, called her prior to starting and explain the job will take more like 3 loads, including fee for very long distance and very small elevators. (at the end the actual job took 3 loads and ¼ and had to be finish the next day). The total cost was discounted to $ 2250 instead of $2790+ before your job started as a good faith).2 / As regard to the donations this was in part the letter we send to client :“Let me start by saying that we do (exclusively – ) cleanout and we offer free of charge (complimentary) dropping off certain items that we think some charitable organizations may accept as donation.Other times when clients have the time, we had assisted them in making arrangement with donation organizations such as Salvation Army for a pickup. It usually takes a few weeks to get an appointment and pictures and description may have to be sent to them so they can assess if it make sense for them. Even when our clients believe items are in good condition they always amazed how little they took, if any. Many donation places are becoming more and more discriminating and have rejected lots of things we brought to them which resulted in many lost trips. They said space is of premium and they must store and display items that can move. For example: Furniture must be with no broken parts, a broken dining chair may make an incomplete set, or smelly, stained or even too big. Some don't accept any upholstered, or cloth furniture (concerned about bed bugs epidemic). After talking with Craig the supervisor at your job, he told me he made a judgment call and he determined that only the clothes might be accepted for donations. You should also know that we don't have any storage facilities so items must be brought to donation places on the day of the removal before going to the recycling plan. And a determination had to be made as to if there are enough items that have a chance to be accepted for donation that will make extra trip worthwhile for us and our client.” Hope that our response is helpful. The Junk Pros TeamNote: We not sell items. We also do the most we can give directly to folks in need, and at no charge.
