Mechanic knew the extent of damage to vehicle, did not disclose everything until one item of work was completed and money was paid
My step son went to have his vehicle repairedHe knew his front braked were leaking and let the mechanic know thatThey quoted him a price to have the work doneOn 8/22/he had the front brake lines redoneMy husband called to pay the bill over the phoneThe mechanic then told him that the whole bottom was rusting out, the back brake lines need to all be done and there is a gas leakHe then stated we should just get rid of the vehicleIt is inoperableI do understand that they would have not seen the back brakes leaking until the front was fixedBut, they knew there was a gas leak, the bottom of the car was rusted out and it shouldn't be drivenThey did not notify us of these issues before they fixed the front brake linesThen told us car was junkIf we had known these issues we would have never had the work done in the first placeI then
