This letter is in response to Mr***'s claims of poor service from ourcompany Mr [redacted] contracted us to grade and install asphalt on hisdriveway at [redacted] , but made the comment that we were higher inprice than he thought we should be The driveway was paved on June 9th.On around June 11th Mr [redacted] contacted our project manager ***They metat the job and [redacted] said that we had gotten his conrete dirty in theprocess of completing the job and he would like a price reduction[redacted] went back to ***'s a day or two later and spent over two hourscleaning the concrete [redacted] then hired a local concrete contractor meetat the job with him to re-seal the concrete because we weren't sure if hehad removed some of the sealer or not in the process of cleaning it[redacted] called again to ask for a deduct on his driveway and we told him thatwe would rather have him happy with the product we provided him He saidthat he still wasn't satisfied because the driveway didn't have enoughdrain in one area[redacted] then went out (a fourth time since paving the driveway) with anotheremployee and spent better than an hour addressing the drain concern andimproved the drain without affecting the appearance of the driveway In aphone conversation with ***, he had also said that he wasn't happy withthe shape on one side of the driveway [redacted] told him that he had paintedand strung the driveway out ahead of time so that [redacted] could see it priorto paving [redacted] said he didn't think the paving crew would follow thelines "exactly" as laid out So, while [redacted] was there this time he"snapped" a chalk line down on the driveway where [redacted] said he wanted the"curve" taken out on one side[redacted] then made a fifth trip out to meet with [redacted] and look at the chalkline and offered to sawcut off the curve at no charge to *** [redacted] saidhe still just wanted a deduct in price and didn't want the curve taken offanymore.We have done everything possible to make [redacted] happy with his driveway Itis our company policy that years after we do work for them, customers willforget about getting a deduct off their bill, but if a problem exists,they see it everyday.Please let me know if you need anything else from us on this matter Wereceived payment in full from [redacted] about a week ago for this work
