We responded to Mr [redacted] 's email within hours of receiving it (attached)Here is our response: "Hi ***, Thank you for your emailI appreciate you reaching outAs a former senior living operator myself I’d love to resolve this and share a bit more about our businessWe built Seniorly to give consumers searching for a senior living a view of all available propertiesWe were not satisfied with the current state of the senior living online search, and wanted to create a better way for families to find senior livingOur website has all properties that are licensed by these state agenciesWe do this to make sure that families searching for senior living can see all options near them not just properties that the company has contracts with Our goal is to eventually have all communities takeover their profiles to ensure accuracy and have a way for families to directly connect with the senior living communities they are interested inThat’s why we built our website to allow you (as a community operator) to take over your account and directly receive calls/emails from families without them having to go through us We are a new business and have not yet marketed to senior living communities in your areaSo for now we do the best we can by creating profiles using publicly available data to create some of the property listings until they are taken over by the operator I understand that some of the information listed on your property profile pages is inaccurateSeniorly uses state licensing agencies to populate content on the profiles which sometimes is slow to be updated You are welcome to takeover your property listings and update the information on the pageThere is no fee associated with this, and you do not need to sign our contractWe want all the information to be accurateYou can also email me any updates that you would like to make You would only sign a contract if you decide that you would like to work with us with new family referralsRegarding phone numbers, we always have two phone numbers listedOne is a phone number that states it is going to Seniorly, and the other is your community’s direct phone numberPlease let me know how you would like to update your profile informationWe are happy to help."

I have never agreed that this entity to use my company's info for building a profile on their website! We do not agree with your position. We will not remove the listing as it is created using public data. Your point on transparency for the consumer (searcher) is why we list all communities. Whether we have a referral relationship with providers or not, we want searchers to know about all local options available to them as they search. We use public data to give them as much information as we can about the listing. Sometimes public information is old or not accurate which is why we give all providers the opportunity to update their listings.

Complaint: [redacted]Even if SENIORLY DOT COM does not like the phrase "I am rejecting this response because:" I will say that again: I am rejecting the response sent by the SENIORLY DOT COM for the reasons mentioned below.The fact that SENIORLY DOT COM created a profile of my company on their website, using public data, DOES NOT JUSTIFY the "selling" my care home's info to potential customers for their monetary gain. Today's world requires that normal business relationships to be governed by written agreements and/or contracts. I own my company and its name, and I will not allow it to be used by UNAUTHORIZED ENTITIES like the SENIORLY DOT COM. They have the nerve to mention transparency while they are the ones interposing between my company and my consumers in a rude, uncivilized and UNEDUCATED manner, trying to force us and other care homes like us, to populate their page. We are not going to populate anything on that page even if they seem to be repeating that over and over in their responses. My company has its own website and therefore we do not need any help from SENIORLY, a deceiving entity who knows nothing about us. Best transparency would be achieved by having SENIORLY not interfere with our business info and name. They don't care about the elderly's needs or problems, the only thing they care is how to turn the elderly's needs into cash, fast. The fact that you call the potential customers "searchers" on a website called SENIORLY DOT COM, it is most relevant. That is how much you care about the elderly! - SHAME ON YOU SENIORLY! It would be OK to have profiles up for those who agree to have such profiles built for. Everyone has to make a living - BUT THAT HAS TO BE A HONEST LIViNG. Stealing my info, forcing me to populate your webpage, inserting your parasitic phone number next to my company's name while my number is marked as "reception" IT IS NOT LEGITIMATE BUSINESS or HONEST LIVING. This is a plain and open deceiving of the unsuspecting customer!  The following is an announcement for the people looking for placement on SENIORLY DOT COM: We do not have a business relationship with SENIORLY, they do not represent us in any way.SENIORLY DOT COM is posting wrong, inaccurate, untrue information about my company. SENIORLY DOT COM is misleading the customers into thinking they are representing my company while they have no clue about who we are, what we do and what we can offer our customers/ residents. SENIORLY DOT COM should not be allowed to falsely pose into my marketing agent, be aware they have no clue about the care homes they recommend and they are posting false information on their website under the “public information is old or not accurate” disclaimer. Nobody should trust an “advisor” having such a speech. I have never asked nor agreed on seniorly dot com using my information and I would like the profiles of Ambience Care Home and Ambience Care Home II REMOVED IMMEDIATELY. If we are to use the services of a placement agent/ agency/ marketing agent, there would be a signed contract in place prior to posting my company's info on their website. There is no such agreement between my Care Home and seniorly dot com. To Revdex.com: this complaint has to be posted on your website so that all customers could read about the practices of SENIORLY DOT COM.
