Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Here, I would like to thank Revdex.com as well as Branch Manager for resolving the problem.
Sincerely,
Revdex.com: I have indeed been contacted by the Bank management. In this sense the matter is resolved. I intend my tone to be as polite and firm as the one I received. The difference here is that I will be transparent for my reasons, since it is on this principle that I remain very concerned, but now resigned. The case that the opinions of people about the way they have been treated - even if blamed on opaque algorithms -has not been given sufficient weight. In the long run, this will prove to be the case, sadly. The individual human being can be a small fish, but those same people can influence very big fish. I'm the small fish, I guess. The facts of this experience will speak for themselves. The fact that Management was not able to intervene (yikes, that would scare me as a shareholder if it were only true!) or is disinclined to investigate further to correct the mistake because it wasn't truly a mistake in the first place. It was the algorithm doing what algorithms do.I do not believe that the gentleman who did kindly finally contact me was in a position to acknowledge this, but there is a serious business impact to treating even small fish as I have been treated. It may serve the business well right now, but will not, I promise you, be good for the business in the long run. You don't really care now, but when things get tougher, you will. That said, I give up. You win.
