Mr [redacted] Let me start out by saying this whole situation is just ridiculous! On December 29, a O'Connor's service technician did a general service cleaning on your furnaceMy technician said you stood with him the whole time watching and asking questionsYou said yourself your furnace worked fine for DaysThat says to me that O'Connor's did the job you paid us to doIf there had been an issue you would have know prior to DaysYou also mentioned that you have only heard good things about O'Connor's from friends and family who have dealt with us then why Mr [redacted] did you immediately believe the technician [redacted] from " [redacted] Plumbing and Heating" when he told you that we were to blame?I was on emergency call duty the night you had an issue and sir I never received a call or a message from youNeedless to say if I had received a message for a no heat I would have called you back and came out to check out your problemYou wanted me to return your calls that you placed to my office but sir I did not feel the need to defend my company or my technician just because another technician voiced his OPIONION against us.Mr [redacted] courtesy calls are made to my customers who have questions and concerns NOT accusations and blame!
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The response received was obviously not one that is acceptable to us because O'Connor's Heating and Cooling continue to miss the point and acknowledge the entire reason of our complaintWhat happened to customer service and courtesy? Here are the facts that we know:An O'Connor technician cleaned our furnace on Tuesday, December 29th During that cleaning, the technician stated he needed to replace a part, to my knowledge that part was the thermocouplerPrior to this cleaning, we had zero problems with our furnaceNot even days later, our pilot light went out and would not longer turn onThis happened on January 28, around 8pmWe immediately tried to call O'connor's emergency number and left a message on the machine that picked up When we didn't receive a call back within the hour, we tried to call back two more times with no response before attempting to reach out to other companies The third professional was able to come out by 11pm and fix our furnace This professional showed us evidence that our furnace still had dirt throughout it and that the thermocoupler was not put in properly and over time (days) it expanded/stripped the gas valve and caused the pilot light to go out We are not furnace experts (which is why we call professionals) so we do not know all the details This makes perfect sense A furnace that has worked fine for years and suddenly stops working days after O'Connor's cleaned it seems like a pretty big coincidence. We called O'Connor's the next day and spoke with a friendly secretary and informed her of our concern, simply seeking an explanation or some kind of call back from the ownerWe never heard backWe did not make accusations nor were we angry or inappropriate. We called back on February 4th, and were greeted with attitude and disrespect This is when naturally we became defensive I don't think it is too much for us to be asking for common customer service and decency. Overall, we were not seeking financial gainWe realize now by the way O'Connor's has been responding the kind of company they are and that we will never be getting any kind of settlement to this complaint I just hope that no one else ever has to experience this frustration. Thank you, Mrand Mrs***
Mr [redacted]Let me start out by saying this whole situation is just ridiculous! On December 29, 2015 a O'Connor's service technician did a general service cleaning on your furnace. My technician said you stood with him the whole time watching and asking questions. You said yourself your...
furnace worked fine for 30 Days. That says to me that O'Connor's did the job you paid us to do. If there had been an issue you would have know prior to 30 Days. You also mentioned that you have only heard good things about O'Connor's from friends and family who have dealt with us then why Mr [redacted] did you immediately believe the technician [redacted] from "[redacted] Plumbing and Heating" when he told you that we were to blame?I was on emergency call duty the night you had an issue and sir I never received a call or a message from you. Needless to say if I had received a message for a no heat I would have called you back and came out to check out your problem. You wanted me to return your 2 calls that you placed to my office but sir I did not feel the need to defend my company or my technician just because another technician voiced his OPIONION against us.Mr [redacted] courtesy calls are made to my customers who have questions and concerns NOT accusations and blame!
