I did apologize several times to Mrs [redacted] when she was at my shop I offered to make it right by removing the diagnoses fee if she had the work done here, and she didn't even want to listen to meShe was extremely difficult to talk to As far as fixing the problem, if she don't change everything that I diagnosed in the blowerI can guarantee she will be having the same issue in a short time, all the parts I told her that need to be changed will need to be changed to fix the issue I am sorry that she does not get the concept of running a business "You don't go into a doctors office to be checked out and not expect to pay something, same for the veterinary clinic and any business that requires diagnosing." If some day people develop x ray vision then maybe someone could look at a persons car and not have to remove parts to figure anything out At that point you might get a free diagnoses, until then anyone in the world will continue to charge for diagnosing if they intend to stay in business

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: He is not a doctor and the analogy is assinine.I was not told that I would be charged for looking at the truck.I asked if I would get a call before any work was done, I was told YES.I want a refund or I will start spreading the bad word and leaving bad reviews any where I can
Regards,

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:I did not ever agree to a diagnostic to be doneI mentioned that I thought something might be disconnected for the blowers into the cabin, please just see if anything is disconnected was exactly what I said.I never asked for them to go beyond that.Yes, they took my truck apart without permissionThey quoted me for needing a new blower motor which was not the issue at all. I did not say I had any problems with other shops I said that my regular mechanic's shop had closed downHe assumed something that was not trueI've never had a problem with any other shop in this town or any otherBecause I am always clear with themThe one time I didn't make sure the initial estimate would be free I get this charge. Before I left my truck I said to the wife, the business manager, I will get a call before they do anything right? ANd she said YES, I WILL CALL YOU. By the time they called apparently I was already indebted to them.I want a refund, I want them to tell people before they do any work on their vehicles which will incur fees and I would like an apology

When Ms*** came into our shop on August 2, 2016, she said she had some problems with other shops in town. Knowing the other shops I told her we do not do business like them and we would take good care of her, but as I came to find out the problem was not solely on the other shops, it
turns out this lady is hard to deal with. I made several attempts to correct any miscommunications with her before she left our place. She wanted nothing to do with it, she said she did not want to talk about it and that she had to leave. As far as the cost she incurred here, it was a small fee for me finding out the problems with her truck. She brought it in and said that her heater and AC was not working, and to see if I could figure out what was going on with that and call her, also to check the power steering leak. I then informed her that we do a complimentary inspection and if we found anything else wrong we would call her with an estimate, she agreed and left the truck. It took me an hour of diagnostic to figure out the problem that she mentioned. I took apart the blower motor and removed the blower motor resistor and found bad bearings on the blower motor and as a result it burnt the resistor and the connector for the resistorWe left it torn down and called her with an estimate for that and the power steering hose. When she declined the work we were already in an hour into the truck. She complained about the hour diagnostic fee so I dropped the price to half an hour, she still complained saying that there was no sign up saying that the she would be charged a diagnostic fee, and that is true but when you take your vehicle in to a shop to get looked at and leave it with the shop, you should expect some kind of fee. If I was to tell everyone what was wrong with their vehicle for free I would go out of business.I feel that I did some good service and found the problem with her truck, and I should be compensated for the work done. Not only that but I offered to discount the $if she had gotten the work done with us. I tried time and time again to come to an agreement with her to settle this in a manner that was good for both parties, and she refused to talk to me
