I have been waiting for insurance company to resolve an insurance claim, its been 2 months and they keep telling me to call back in few weeks while in the meantime I am being *** by collection agency for not paying hospital bill. there call-wait times are really long you have to stay on hold for hours before they answer your call.
I would suggest everybody out there to never get insurace from this company.

I had taken visitor's insurance for my father Mr. Prabhakar S. (77) for 180 days from their company Destination Travel Group Inc. Mr. Amit S. was the agent for this purchase. At the time of purchase only summary of benefits were given to us which included following three benefits as accident
1. Accidental Dental Up to $3,000 for emergency treatment for accidental blow to the face
2. Accidental Death & Dismemberment Up to the maximum sum insured not to exceed $150,000 for loss of life, limb or sight resulting from an accidental injury
3. Flight Accident Up to a maximum sum insured of $50,000
There was no mention about Motor Vehicle Accident case.
Mr. P. was hit by a car while he was crossing road on Aug 29th 2017 and taken to Credit Valley Hospital in emergency. He had a fracture on his right leg. We contacted this insurance company for assistance as Destination is the primary health insurance provider for Mr. P. A claim file (case # XXXXXX) was opened.
From that day till today, after numerous correspondences via email & phone, submissions of documents as per their demands we received decision that the claim has been denied as this was Motor Vehicle Accident.
At the time purchase of policy Mr. Amit S. made promising statements that in case of any medical emergency hospitalisation, we have to give the insurance details to hospital authorities and rest will be taken care by the company. But nothing is true in our case.
Thank God Mr. P. is not alone in this country as visitor otherwise what would have been the situation, we can not imagine.

Have been waiting for 8 months for claim to be resolved . We are receiving collection notices from an agency . We get no where with the contacts . Always a different story
