I want a refund
Hello I'm reaching to you about a car dealership in long beach ca that is scamming people out of there hard earned money. on Wednesday June the 9th I paid $3500 as a down payment on a 2014 ford fusion to *** at select auto 1760 long beach Blvd.
as soon as I drove off the lot the car broke down about a mile away *** then picked up the car the following day he told me that the car would be ready the next day but everytime I go see him or call him about it he keeps brushing me off it has now been two weeks and the car is still in his possession sitting up collecting dust. *** has not kept his promise to me about repairing the car and he refuses to refund my money. I made a payment of $266 on my insurance the day I bought the car now the rest of the balance of $200 is due and I dont have the car. yesterday after looking at his reviews on yelp I now realize that im a victem of a scammer if you see his yelp reviews this is how he runs his bussiness. He should be be shut down immediately. im surprised that the city of long beach havent already shut him down and arrested him. hes been ripping people off for a while.
At this point I want a refund because he can't be trusted and he doesn't keep his word
Purchased a car in April 2019, paid off October 2019, after several attempts by myself and my insurance we still have NO TITLE!
I have been unable to obtain a title to the car I purchased from Select Auto, Long Beach, CA. My temporary license plates were issued in someone else's name. After over one hundred attempts to obtain my title, I still have nothing. The California Department of Motor Vehicle has no record of me. I believe I have a car that is no legally mine after paying for the auto and having a signed contract.
I would like to have the TITLE to my car. I paid for the car in full plus any finance charge he tacked on.
I attempted to purchase a car from a representative that called himself the owner named "***". When looking at the cars we didn't see a monroney sticker on the window explaining what was or wasn't covered on the car. During the test drive and noticing the check engine light on *** continuously said he would repair the issues. I took the car to the original dealership to get a full inspection on the vehicle in that report it stated there were some repairs that needed attention and was recommended not to drive the vehicle until the repairs were completed. I took the report to *** and he again said he would make the repairs. After waiting for 2 weeks for *** to make the repairs and produce a lender for the loan I requested my money back and wanted to return the car. *** refused my calls and when attempting to go back to the car lot the lot was closed. When finally getting a returned call from *** on April 10th. *** said I owed him money. When attempting to tell him I've been wanting to return the car because he didn't fulfill what he agreed he said to bring the car in and he'll make the repairs. He supplied a loaner car when at that time. He said he'd make the repairs As far as the lender he said just give him the money for the payments. The next day he had someone I didn't know call and tell me if I want the car back I need to give him money. My loan was never bought by a lender and the repairs were never completed. He started threatening me saying he would damage my credit report and was going to report the loaner car stolen still refusing to give my money and belongings back that was still in the vehicle.

Refund Select Auto did not produce a lender and did not honor the car repair agreement. I just want the *** I put down for the vehicle and confirmation he will not include anything negative on my credit report.
