Seitz Bros Exterminating, Incorporated

Review: Seitz brothers assessed our home for asbestos removal insulating the ductwork. Quoted price for complete of job was 1200.00. We signed contract, paid deposit and prepared for the abatement on the date of service which was today 10-30-2013. The 3 men work crew arrived at 8am and assessed the work and walk through. At that point they said that the estimated price for removal would be more than what was agreed upon. The overseeing manager called and told us that it will cost 3800.00 total and two additional days for work to be completed. 3 hours back and forth on the phone we had no choice but to agree because we had already boarded our cat and our dog for the days, took off work, and scheduled the second contractor to install our duct work. Plus supplying our heat to the home we can't go to much longer without heat as the temperatures at night have been almost reaching freezing. There are multiple emails bewtween my husband and the representative that sciped the work and drew the contract, assuring us that the work will be complete in one day and the price (1200) is steadfast. I feel cometely taken advantage of.Desired Settlement: Completed job and payment of 1200.00 as agreed upon in signed contract and any overages that I have paid be refunded in full.
