Review: The rubber in my ($700) watch band completely rotted and fell to pieces. The first phone call and I was told, "Well it is an old watch"

(as if I should have expected that to happen)

then, "Try EBAY, maybe you can find it there."

I sent two emails after that expessing how unhappy I was about the suggestions I was given. I received no replies.

I called again and was told to send it in and ...maybe they could find something to fit it. I hated to pay to ship and insure it

for a maybe. I sent another email, no reply.

Third call and I was told that yes they would be able to find a band. So I mailed it in. The estimate was $125. I argued that was too high considering the problem was due to poor quality. They then lowered the estimate to $100. I was still unhappy with that but it was my husbands wedding gift so I had them fix it. I returned it in the original case. They returned it without the case and now tell me if I want, I can purchase a new case. Also, it is the exact same band, will this one rot too? They could not say. Two more phone calls were made to speak to a supervisor, but no one was available to take my call.

Completely unhappy with the quality and the customer service.Desired Settlement: A refund of the $99.69 charged. And my box back.

we can't afford to remove any additional cost since we gave her a Jewelers cost of repair already however we can send her an additional strap at no cost to her for future use. please let me know if you need any additional information in my part to have this rectified. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is, for the most part, satisfactory to me.

They can send the additional strap to me at the address below. I would also like my box sent back, I paid for it.
